Eugenia, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My mother was always and to this day continues to be the most hard working women I know, she managed to keep a house of 3 kids afloat and re invent herself in many ways, artistically and professionally, she has survived many personal, economical and political crisis and always done it with love and joy.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a fashion designer, stylist and creative consultant, you can see more of my work and curation of styles in BuyMalandra.com were we offer unique and sustainable designs from Latin America at an affordable price focusing on a slow fashion business model
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Resilience, patience and empathy are what to this day have kept me the closest to my dreams and have helped me on this ongoing journey, leave the fear out and just be patient with yourself and others.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m currently looking to expand the roaster of brands offered in BuyMalandra.com in order to make it the most diverse and inclusive, multi brand experience online, specially, small Latino designers. Looking to tap into the US market.
