Meet Faithe Williams

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Faithe Williams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Faithe below.

Hi Faithe, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
“Why would someone want to hear what you have to say?” is the grand question that comes across my mind more often than not.

I remember when I first started to create content, I was a newly licensed Realtor looking to gain clientele so, of course, my first thought was to heavily market myself on social media. I would post a lot of house tours, I’ll make different speaking videos about a variety of aspects of the home-buying process, etc. Literally, every time before I would start to create content or post my videos, there would be a voice at the back of my head saying, “Girl, you have no idea what you talking about. You’re not qualified enough. You literally just got licensed, what do you know about selling houses..”

Even almost 4 years later, I find those similar thoughts still trying to creep in and I can honestly say that it’s something that we will constantly battle especially when we hit different pivotal moments in our lives, whether it’s a career change, figuring out our purpose in life, etc.

However, when it comes to managing imposter syndrome, my relationship that I have with God gives me the ability to understand my true value and worthiness. Are the thoughts I’m having about myself from God or are they from an outside source? I start to challenge those thoughts with who God says I am:

I am who He created me to be.
I am the head and not the tail.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I am a champion.
I am chosen.
I am seen by God.
I am God’s masterpiece.

These biblical affirmations allow me to realign myself with the confidence to know that I am worthy of listening to and that I, in fact, do have a testimony that’s worth sharing. I realized that I may not be where I want to be in that particular moment, but you never know how what you say or do can inspire others and inflict change.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a multi-faceted individual who finds joy and fulfillment in a variety of passions. As a realtor with almost four years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families find their dream homes, making the journey of homeownership as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

In addition to my work in real estate, I am the proud owner of Social Haus Studios, an event venue that I’ve poured my heart and soul into, creating a space where unforgettable memories are made. Being able to curate moments of celebration and joy for my clients is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of my entrepreneurial endeavors, I am also a content creator and professional dancer. Through my creative pursuits, I aim to inspire and uplift others, infusing positivity and energy into every project I undertake.

One of the most exciting things is the opportunity to continuously challenge myself and grow in new and unexpected ways. Whether it’s negotiating a real estate deal, choreographing a dance routine, or curating content that resonates with my audience, I thrive on pushing boundaries and surpassing expectations.

Throughout it all, my faith in God serves as a guiding light, giving me strength and resilience to overcome any obstacle that comes my way. I believe in the power of perseverance and remain steadfast in my commitment to achieving excellence in everything I do.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In my experience, the top 3 skills that I feel are most important are being a people’s person, knowing how to be creative and being able to adapt.

Being a People’s Person/Customer Service:

Building meaningful connections and understanding the needs of others is paramount in any journey. Whether it’s nuturing relationships with clients, colleagues, or even within your own team, the ability to communicate effectively, empathize, and provide top-notch service can open countless doors. It’s about more than just transactions; it’s about creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Creativity/Marketing:

In a world filled with noise, standing out requires a spark of creativity. Whether it’s creating innovative marketing campaigns, crafting compelling stories, or designing captivating visuals, creativity is the driving force behind capturing attention and building brand identity. It’s about thinking outside the box, pushing boundaries, and finding fresh ways to resonate with your audience.

Adaptability/Time Management:

Being able to pivot, evolve, and thrive in the face of change is a nonnegotible. This goes hand in hand with effective time management – juggling multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining quality and focus. It’s about staying organized and resilient, ensuring that you can navigate whatever curveballs come your way while still delivering results.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When feeling overwhelmed, I believe in embracing those emotions rather than shying away from them. It’s essential to acknowledge and accept what we’re feeling before we can effectively address it. So, I take a step back, allowing myself the space to experience those emotions fully.

For me, writing is therapeutic. I find peace in putting pen to paper, expressing my thoughts and feelings in the rawest form possible. It’s a release that helps me gain clarity and perspective on the situation at hand.

Additionally, I turn to prayer for strength and guidance. Surrendering my worries and burdens to God brings me comfort and reassurance. It reminds me that I’m not alone in facing challenges and that I have the resilience and support to overcome them.

In the pursuit of greatness and answering to a higher calling, it’s inevitable that we’ll encounter moments of overwhelming pressure. But it’s how we navigate through those moments that truly defines us.
