Meet Faiz Imran

We recently connected with Faiz Imran and have shared our conversation below.

Faiz, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
It can be challenging to be the only one in the room who looks like you, especially if you feel like you have to represent your entire group or community. However, there are a few things that you can do to be effective and successful in these situations:

1. Know your worth: It’s important to believe in yourself and your abilities. Don’t let being the only one in the room make you doubt yourself.

2. Use your unique perspective: Don’t be afraid to bring your unique perspective and experiences to the table. Your diverse background and perspective can be a valuable asset and can help to enrich group discussions and decision-making processes

3. Find a new room of people that aligns closer to your goals, vision, and where you want to be in life.

many of you have heard the saying

“if you surround yourself around 4 confident people you’ll be the 5th

if you surround yourself around 4 intelligent people you’ll be the 5th

if you surround yourself around 4 millionaires people you’ll be the 5th

but if you surround yourself around 4 people with no drive or ambition you’ll be the 5th as well.

you can find a new room of people by joining local networks, business groups, or even masterminds of successful individuals.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As mentioned, it’s so important to surround yourself with individuals that push you to grow and become the better version of yourself,

Personally I don’t know where I’d be if i hadn’t learned to find these rooms and connect with people that inspired me.

In an effort to give back and allow others to be able to find a community that enables them to grow and constantly be pushed to achieve their full potential, I’ve launched my own network and inner circle mastermind of highly ambitious and successful entrepreneurs from all industries.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Network: Building a network of amazing people and ensuring you nurture the relationships by continually offering value

2. Discipline: motivation will come and go but having the discipline to get up and get things done even when your not motivated is immensely important.

and finally

3 Giving back / Paying it forward: I’ve had many mentors that helped me and added so much to my life without ever asking for anything in return, and to continue the cycle you should always give back and help someone that is in a position you’ve overcome and grown past.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
It’s been a variety of individuals though out the years and a variety of masterminds and inner circles I’ve participated in, many of which are currently involved in my personal inner circle and mastermind.
