Meet Fallon “It’s Bourbon Baby” Dupard

We recently connected with Fallon “It’s Bourbon Baby” Dupard and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Fallon “It’s Bourbon Baby”, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

My purpose found me, probably over a good pour and great conversation. I’ve always had a passion for bringing people together, creating moments that feel like family, and celebrating culture with soul. Over time, I realized that bourbon wasn’t just a drink, it was a story, a connector, and a bridge between people and experiences. Once I understood that, everything clicked.

Bourbon Baby Collective became more than a business, it became my calling. It’s where my love for storytelling, Southern roots, and community meet. My purpose is to shift the culture of bourbon, create spaces where everyone feels they belong, and make sure that every pour tells a story that feels like home.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m Fallon “It’s Bourbon Baby” Dupard, Certified Bourbon Steward, culture curator, and founder of Bourbon Baby Collective, the Gulf Coast’s premier bourbon and whiskey experience brand. What I do is simple, but powerful: I create spaces where bourbon meets culture, and education meets celebration. Every experience I design is about more than just tasting whiskey, it’s about storytelling, connection, and shifting the way people feel about bourbon.

What excites me most is seeing people light up when they realize bourbon doesn’t have to be intimidating, it can be inviting. It can be soulful, approachable, and full of personality. Through curated tastings, pairings, and pop-up experiences, we pour Southern hospitality, cultural storytelling, and community into every glass.

Bourbon Baby Collective is about raising the bar, not just in what’s in the glass, but in how people connect around it. We’re changing the way bourbon feels, and who it’s made for.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I’d say the three biggest things that have carried me through this journey are confidence, curiosity, and connection.

Confidence, because when you’re doing something different, especially in spaces where people don’t always expect to see you, you have to believe in your vision before anyone else does. There were plenty of times I was the only one in the room, but I learned to own that. If I walk in like I belong there, the room adjusts.

Curiosity has been huge, too. I didn’t grow up knowing the science behind bourbon or the deep history of whiskey, I had to study, taste, and ask questions. That curiosity kept me learning, and it made me a better storyteller. I always tell people: never be afraid to be the student, even after you become the expert.

And lastly, connection. That’s really the heart of it all. Building relationships, showing up authentically, and creating genuine experiences, that’s what makes Bourbon Baby Collective what it is. People don’t just remember the pour, they remember how you made them feel.

For anyone just starting out, my advice is this: don’t rush your growth. Be confident enough to show up, curious enough to keep learning, and intentional enough to build real connections. Those three things will take you further than any shortcut ever could.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely! Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. Bourbon Baby Collective was built on the idea of connection, bringing people, places, and passions together over a good pour. I’m always looking to partner with brands, creatives, and venues who share that same energy, folks who believe in storytelling, culture, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Whether it’s pairing bourbon with art, music, or food, or crafting unique pop-up tastings that blend education with celebration, I love working with people who think outside the box and care about curating a vibe as much as I do.

The best way to connect is through our website or social platforms www.bourbonbabycollective.com or @bourbonbabycollective on Instagram and TikTok, send a message, share your vision, and let’s see what magic we can make happen.

At the end of the day, I’m all about partnerships that feel organic and purpose-driven. If it aligns with culture, connection, and community, I’m with it.
