Meet Felipe Alexandre

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Felipe Alexandre a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Felipe, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?

My ability to take risks has developed throughout my career, where a passion for helping others has driven every decision and step. I have faced challenges and uncertainties, but I have always believed that the best opportunities come from stepping out of my comfort zone. This mindset has allowed me to explore new approaches and expand my work.
Currently, I lead Alexandre Law Firm. We are experts in immigration services of any nature, from asylum seekers to professionals and investors. What I find most exciting is seeing how we can transform dreams into reality, helping our clients achieve their life and career goals.
Recently, we have been focused on expansion. We just opened a new office in Orlando, FL, and we will continue to move forward by updating our internal systems to facilitate client interactions, which is always our top priority.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am an immigration lawyer and founder of ALFA (Alexandre Law Firm & Associates), a company based in Los Angeles and present in New York, Nevada, and Florida. What we do is to create a customized solution for people’s immigration issues (asylum, deportation, exchange, or work visas), so that they can work and live legally in the United States. Our company has completed 10 years of activity in 2024, and we are going for 10 more.

Earlier this year, I flew to Washington to speak at the International Religious Freedom Summit about one of our most relevant cases: The Mayflower Church. This case made a huge impact on my career. We had guided the church in Texas on bringing a Chinese community that was facing religious persecution. Many families were brought safely and are now living legally in America. It moves my heart the impact a well fundamented process can have on the live of immigrant people.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities that I consider most impactful in my journey have been resilience, empathy, and strategic vision. Resilience has helped me overcome obstacles, empathy has allowed me to better understand my clients’ needs, and strategic vision has guided me in creating effective solutions.
For those who are starting out, my advice is simple: never underestimate the importance of listening. Understanding your audience and their needs is fundamental. Additionally, don’t be afraid to make mistakes; they are valuable learning opportunities.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

In the past 12 months, our biggest investment has been in our team and technology. I have adapted to new digital tools and the evolving needs of our clients.
