Meet Fernanda Montoya

We recently connected with Fernanda Montoya and have shared our conversation below.

Fernanda, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I’ve always thought that purpose came from serving others, through my years, I’ve realized that my purpose was shaped by my own journey. Struggling with hormonal imbalance, feeling unwell, and navigating the challenges of healing gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to truly overcome something. My journey wasn’t easy, but it taught me so much, and now I feel a genuine pull to help other women who are going through similar struggles. I’ve been there, and I know what it’s like to feel stuck. My purpose is to guide women toward finding their balance and health, just as I did—one step at a time.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I help women who are struggling with hormonal imbalances, much like I once did. I focus on PCOS. Through my own journey of healing, I realized how frustrating it can be when your body feels out of sync. What excites me most about what I do is helping women get to the other side of that struggle—to a place where they feel empowered, balanced, and confident. What’s special about it is that I’m able to relate to my clients and I feel so much gratitude that I’m able to guide them on their healing journey. My approach is all about showing women that healing is possible with the right tools and that they don’t have to go through it alone

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that had the most impact on my journey are curiosity, resiliency, and investing in myself. Curiosity has been a driving force for me, both in my health journey and my business journey. It pushed me to explore different approaches to find what truly worked for my body and allowed me to experiment with various strategies in my business.

Resiliency has been another cornerstone. When things didn’t go as planned, I learned to trust that there would always be a way forward. It’s about holding onto the belief that setbacks are not the end; they’re often just redirections.

The third one is investing in myself. Whether it was time, resources, or energy, I knew that whatever I put in would come back tenfold. This mindset helped me prioritize my growth and well-being. Whether it’s enrolling in a course, seeking mentorship, or simply taking time for self-care, I knew that these efforts would pay off in ways I couldn’t foresee.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

The mentors and coaches I’ve worked with have been instrumental in helping me overcome challenges and guide me in my journey. They helped me develop in different areas and stay focus on my goals.
