Fernanda , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

More than ten years ago, I began my journey in the countryside of Brazil – a place where hopelessness and a lack of dreams seemed to surround me. But even then, I chose to dream. I refused to be just another person. I wanted to be different and to make a difference.

I turned that dream into a profession that goes far beyond the salon chair. Today, I am a businesswoman, hairdresser, and instructor specialized in hair extensions. My work is not just about beauty — it’s about transforming lives, restoring self-esteem, and healing what many women carry inside.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am Fernanda Silva, a proud Brazilian entrepreneur and the founder of Max Hair Sales Services. With more than a decade of experience, I am a certified instructor and specialist in hair extensions and wigs, dedicated to transforming not only appearances but lives.

Throughout these years, I have witnessed countless transformations – and in each of them, I was transformed as well. What began as a childhood dream has become my true life purpose. From that purpose was born my own exclusive technique, MAX SLIM, a revolutionary method designed to bring greater comfort, lightness, and well-being to my beloved clients.

Every day, I strive to learn, grow, and specialize even more – because I believe that beauty goes far beyond vanity. My mission is not only to enhance a woman’s self-esteem but to remind her of who she truly is: powerful, valuable, and capable of everything. My work celebrates the essence of being a woman – mother, wife, friend – embracing life with grace, lightness, and joy.

Soon, I will be launching my book “Beyond the Chair”, where I share stories of transformation and the miracles that have unfolded throughout my journey. This book is a reflection of my belief that true beauty begins when we reconnect with our essence and remember that being simply a daughter of the Father is enough.

In my chair, I don’t just take care of hair — I take care of hearts. Each client who sits with me feels seen, valued, and renewed. Whether through my services or my mentorship, my greatest goal is that every woman leaves not only looking more beautiful but feeling stronger, lighter, and ready to shine.

Because at Max Hair, transformation goes far beyond the chair — it touches the soul.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have most shaped my journey are:

1. Resilience and Faith:

From the very beginning, I faced challenges typical of those who come from humble beginnings yet choose to dream big. Resilience taught me never to give up, even when things seemed impossible, and faith kept me grounded when results hadn’t yet appeared. Together, they gave me the strength to keep moving forward, to reinvent myself, and to continue believing in my purpose despite uncertainty.

2. Commitment to Excellence and Lifelong Learning:

I have always believed that talent must be refined. That’s why I never stopped studying, testing, creating, and seeking the best for my clients and students. This constant pursuit of improvement led me to develop my own technique – MAX SLIM – and to become a reference in my field. The desire to learn and evolve is what turns an ordinary professional into a true master.

3. Empathy and Purpose:

Over time, I learned that real success is not just about transforming appearances – it’s about touching hearts. I developed the ability to listen deeply, to understand that every woman who sits in my chair carries her own story, her own pain, and her own hope to feel whole again. That empathy transformed my work into a life mission: to heal and uplift lives through beauty and self-awareness.

My advice for those just starting out:

Allow yourself to dream big, but start with what you have. Believe in your gift and invest in improving it every single day. Don’t rush the process — grow through each stage with humility and a desire to learn.

Seek knowledge, but also seek purpose. True success comes when you understand that your talent is a way to serve, inspire, and bring healing to others.

And above all, never lose your essence. Because that’s what will make your work unique, human, and unforgettable.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

The Most Important Person in My Journey

Looking back at everything I have lived and achieved, I know that Jesus has always been — and will always be — my shelter, my strength, and my greatest source of sustenance. It was through Him that I found wisdom, courage, and direction when the path seemed uncertain. In every challenge, His presence became my comfort and my light, keeping me standing when I felt weak.

But along with that divine love, God also blessed me with the most loyal and supportive human love I could ever receive — my husband, Douglas Silva.

Douglas has been my constant companion, my motivation, and my greatest encourager. On the days when exhaustion felt stronger than the dream, he believed for both of us. When I doubted myself, he reminded me of where I came from, how far I’ve come, and how much more I’m capable of achieving.

His support has shown me that true love isn’t just made of words — it’s built on presence, patience, and shared faith. He never let me give up, even when life demanded more than I thought I could give.

Today, I understand that everything I’ve built is the result of a partnership between heaven and earth — Jesus, who guides me, and Douglas, who walks beside me.
Every victory I celebrate carries the touch of the divine and the love of the one who never let go of my hand.
