We were lucky to catch up with Fernando Martinez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Fernando with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Definitely got my work ethic from my dad

First started catering as a way to raise funds for our adoption. We were blessed to be able to adopt our daughter and grow a business at same time. Weekly events grew steadily until Covid hit. We adapted to the times and thrived during Covid. 4 food trailers later, we opened a brick and mortar. With more and more food trucks opening, we always thrive on giving the best customer service possible, along with premium quality products.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Customer service is a must! Quality product and do not undersell yourself.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I’ve been surrounded by amazing people who have supported us thru this growth. I listened to everyone’s feedback and used what I could to the best of my ability to grow. Good or bad advise, learn from them both and do what’s best for you and your business.
