Fetima, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
My purpose was found while I was a Math teacher. I always knew that I wanted to help and provide service to others. I knew I wanted to take a step further by creating a small business that I could call my own. F.C. Best Products LLC is now another way to fulfill my purpose.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a small business owner that specializes in customizations of beadable focal pens, mini tumbler keychains, journals & more. What makes us unique is every product that we hand make can be customizable & personalized. We are growing a family on TikTok where I go live everyday. Our brand is new & exciting because we cater to the folks that appreciate quality service. I know for me… love a company that has amazing customer service & that’s what we provide here on Team F.C.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
One skill that is impactful in my journey is not giving up when it gets hard. Your journey will not be easy- but what makes you different from others is not giving up in those moments.
Another skill is patience. Things are not going to change overnight. Whenever you have an idea- stick with it until it works. It may not work the first time, or the second time, maybe not even the 10th time- stay persistent.
Lastly, it’s important that you provide quality products/services. I know when I shop I want the best my money can buy. So remember… when you are starting your business or selling your products offer the best to your customers- trust me, it works out in the end.
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing that my parents have done for me show me how to work hard for what I want. I now have a work ethic that I can take with me anywhere and into anything I decide to do. I worked hard in college while having a part time job, I worked hard as a math teacher and I worked hard to begin this business.
