Meet Firstkings Love

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Firstkings Love. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi FirstKings, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

Great question. Honestly as cliche as it may sound. I get all my resiliency from the Good Lord. I had such a tumultuous upbringing. Being where I am today, I can’t take credit for any of it besides the fact that I finally just chose to accept Jesus to lead the way. Trusting in His planning and perfect timing. Once I began not leaning on my own understanding I realized that He had a plan for my life to reach lives. I never had a bad heart I just always made bad decisions. Although I believe I made every choice with a heart of the purest intentions.
I can’t remember anything ever working out for me until I became anew identity. I truly found my identity in Christ. I went through a spiritual transformation awakening myself to the power that is now my shield. It was when I was at the lowest point of my life that God truly showed up. Or when I finally accepted Him rather and said yes to Him. When I was living in a time of what I thought was my high point of success I would acknowledge God still but, there was a disconnect somewhere. Today I know that was because of me. Also what I’ve lived through. Still being able to live. All those memories, all those tough roads during my journey has made me resilient because I’ve never been taken off my feet. I knew to never give up. I knew during the uncomfortable moments I had to be truly present in. The adversity I faced was all part of my itinerary. All my failures, every no I’ve gotten. Every missed opportunity has thrived my true resilience. Never braking weak and never slowing up my pursuit to a greater degree of self confidence. All the wasted time. What fuels my resiliency most though is how I’ve always landed on my feet. Self discipline and self discovery. Thinking back about places I’ve been I feel as though I’ve lived multiple lives all in the years I’ve been able to do life. Ready for the new adventures life will lead me into. All the bad decisions I’ve made and those results. Overcoming the battle people don’t know I’ve fought. The new opportunities placed in front of me give me extreme resilience.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Many may know me by another name. Many may know me from another way of life I lived. Some of you may have heard glimpses of my story. All Glory to God because my story is truly HIStory of salvation and goodness of love.
Growing up in Yakima Washington; has shaped me into becoming who I am today. More importantly Who I represent. From all facets of life my mission is universal in reaching the people. To impact lives and to encourage others to stand firm entrusting in the process of growth and change. My message is clear on unity and in sharing my testimony in hopes to reshape the thinking of people to triumph over adversity.
My passion in stepping boldly into the world that is necessary to shine Light into communities.
You name it; I have lived it and have seen it. I relate to all walks of life. What I’ve overcome is relatable. My focus is to cultivate a movement of hope. To become the ambassador of peace. To unify in diversity and to share my true story to motivate you. From the streets, the prisons to the corporate world and all the in between. My mission is not only to encourage myself but also for the people who have experience similar experiences. Investing into the people. Serving my time to extend my hand to anyone willing to challenge themselves in taking the first step. Biblical beliefs is my source of wisdom. My inspiration in inspiring others to be the greatest version of themselves.

I was born in Riverside California. When I was a baby my family and I moved a few times. I believe I’ve heard my Dad tell me that we’ve lived in both Italy and China before we landed on Luzon Island, where my Mom is from. Most of my younger memories there are vague today but, there are still some that I can remember as if it had happened yesterday.
Eventually after a Volcano eruption we rushed and finally relocated to the States.

2022 was when I finally found my calling.
Three years before that I was homeless. As in living in the streets homeless. Life before that I was winning in the eyes of the world. Then at the end of my three years of living on the streets I got shot in the face. I call that my Damascus Moment. I remember laying in my hospital bed hearing Gods Voice. I could see the vision He spoke to me. That I would be given the desire of my heart; music. That He would use me to reach the people on a whole different level from how others have been doing it. He placed His Hand on my chest and gave me a new heart. A heart to love more. Then I seen His arm come down among so many people. I was in the crowd of people as well. Although His arm separated me and then He pulled me away from the others. I was confused at first only because first I was shown me being used musically. People I don’t know then but know now. All the people were Christian musicians. Throughout my journey to where I am today I’ve learned that He was separating me to minister to me intimately. Equipping me for where He was taking me. Into the unknown. I’ve always loved music and even though when I was in the world I aspired to become another Hip Hop Artist. I didn’t have the means to. But God! Put Christian in front of Hip Hop.

Professionally I am a Christian Hip Hop Artist. Personally I am a Music Minister and servant of God. I also own my own Music Recording Company, recording studio and Music label. By the Grace of God doors have been opening up that I am able to walk through and partner up with many organizations that I could share my story with people that need encouragement. That raw and real authentic truth. I enjoy sharing the testament of what God did for me and can do for others. I’ve had the privilege to start building my company from the ground up.

Outside of that; God has been blessing me tremendously. In the course of two years I am in awe of everything He’s provided. I have a great God fearing mentor that not only comes from the same background I came from but is now doing great work in the community with his organization that serves for a better tomorrow. Seasons Housing is his organization. He actually wrote out his business plan in prison. Lifted it up to the Lord when it was completed then God did the rest.
There’s a new album called GOD-BREATHED coming out December of this year. God has such a sense of humor because HOLYFIRE was released last December. There’s so much more depth to His timing. Also God has answered more prayers one of which is introducing me to someone that I feel is my Spiritual Twin. Together he and I are collaborating on a powerful Masterpiece Mixtape for early 2025. Which is called WARship Music. So please be on the look out for that. I’m sure you’ll see many promo videos and hear bits of what’s to expect.

As a motivational speaker I’ve been blessed with more opportunities where I can share my story to universal communities. I am thankful in advance for the doors God has already aligned for me to walk through. Partnering with those organizations that take risk and make sacrifices in advocating for not only a greater tomorrow but, also to be the voice for stopping the violence. Lately I have been feeling like I am in a season of harvesting. Limiting myself in my availability while investing my time more searching Scripture. So that I can grab ahold boldly onto every promise given. That way when it’s time for me to step out into where I am sent, I know my purpose and assignment. Even Moses left his home to find his purpose. Jesus Himself had to have His alone time. While those that think I’m avoiding them. One day they will see the value in my pressing in to God’s Vision. It’s all Biblical no matter what walk you’re on.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Post music production. People skills and Biblical knowledge.

I feel these three are a perfect combination of what I either excel in or have learned to fully trust into. While all three I apply to my daily routine in growing to become more efficient and effective confidently to serve and do my part in what I can control and offer with my time.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The book called Blink. Authored by Malcolm Gladwell.

I find myself thinking about that book allot. It’s been years since I’ve read it last I’m going to read it again but, still it was that effective in my application and way of thinking. I recommend it to anyone interested in a great author that will open your mind to become wiser in your knowledge of trusting your instincts and challenging yourself to become greater. One chapter spoke about the “Broken Window Effect”. How it takes only one person or one act that can create a new reality that the world will adapt too. This goes both ways in the negative and positive. I love how it teaches to just react rather than overthink. Overthinking has a high overturning rate versus the challenge of discovering the outcome stepping into the unknown with the energy you’ve applied. The whole read gives insights on how to harness, digest, apply and utilize knowledge that you’ve been imprisoning. Once you’re finished reading Blink. Read the story of Job! Lol. Love y’all.

Oh and be sure to follow me on my social media platforms to stay up to date on all the latest developments. You can find it all and more of what I’ve been up to these past two years on my website. Reach out and meet a friend and brother in Christ. In Jesus Mighty Name!
