We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Flor Perez Isackson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Flor below.
Hi Flor , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Purpose comes in various forms and is something we’re born with, something God instills in us. However, it can take time to uncover, and often we find it through our work, passions, and how we spend our time. As a business coach, I now help business owners and personal brands grow and expand, drawing from my own experiences. I believe personal growth leads to business growth. By asking insightful questions, I guide others to discover what fulfills them, much like my own journey of working for companies and eventually for myself. It’s about listening to yourself, experimenting, and embracing your emotions. When we become self-aware, we uncover what truly brings us joy, whether it’s helping others, creating, or developing solutions that improve lives. By tuning in to ourselves, we find our purpose and fulfillment.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
The story of my business began with discovering my passions and purpose over time. Traveling to different parts of the world opened my mind to possibilities, showing me that my studies weren’t limiting but could be expanded into various areas. My background includes event organizing, public relations, medical promotion, sign language interpretation, and life coaching, with a postgraduate focus on business and leadership coaching. Initially, I worked in companies but always had an entrepreneurial spirit. This led me to social media, community management, and photography, eventually founding a marketing agency that grew from 3 to 20 employees, serving clients across Argentina and globally.
During the pandemic, I focused on marketing for doctors and healthcare professionals, running workshops and training to improve their sales and marketing strategies. Although I still manage some marketing for doctors, my focus is now on coaching business owners, helping them grow by discovering hidden potential within themselves and their businesses. I run workshops and online bootcamps, primarily in Spanish, aimed at helping people at different business stages develop internally, improve their mindset, and transform their approach to business.
I also offer products in English, share content through social media and my website, and run a YouTube channel where I provide videos on building a growth mindset and healthy self-esteem for business success. My latest product was a 21-day Bootcamp to develop a growth mindset. I am deeply passionate about helping others achieve success and fulfillment, and this passion has become the foundation of my business..
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Persistence, faith, love.
It would add characteristics such as creativity, flexibility and acceptance.
If I look back today, these are the things that allowed me to get to today, whether with one business or different, to close others and open some, to understand that we can do good, as well as bad.
If I could share something, they would be tools to recognize ourselves, heal ourselves, seek our peace, I first started looking for God, but then it is the commitment of each one of us internally, to know that things can always be different, and that according to what we believe, we will create. Something very important is to enjoy the journey, the process, we waste a lot of energy just looking at results, and life is not about that, but about being connected to the present, about being grateful for the day to day, the more connected we are, the more things we will achieve, but otherwise, achieving goals becomes heavy and punishing sometimes, for not recognizing or celebrating the whole process and learning.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Oops! It happens to me often, less and less but it happens. When I’m overwhelmed, or overthink, or stressed, I listen to myself. Today I am aware that things do me good and reconnect me with the source, but listening to oneself is the key. This is super “cliché”, I know but when you really experience it, it becomes a real saying. So listening to yourself for me means, knowing that when I need calm, I go to the sea for example, the water does me good, I touch the ground, the grass, I paint, I read, I breathe, I look at the sky, I cry, I pray, I write, I dance, I sing, whatever connects with you, without invalidating your emotions, because the main thing is to go through the emotion, to live it, not to ignore it, that’s very important, to recognize it, okay, how do I feel? And what can I do to get out of here? and ask myself those things, and our soul, our being, our body will tell us. believe me it really happens. It’s not magic, it’s not immediate, but the more we ask ourselves, the more answers and information we’ll have.
