We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful G-eyez. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with G-Eyez below.
G-Eyez, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I persist because my purpose is bigger than their opinions. The doubt, the hate, the negativity—they’re all just background noise to a mind that’s locked in. I’ve built myself to be resilient, to take every criticism and turn it into fuel. Every great visionary, every legend, has faced resistance. If anything, the hate confirms that I’m moving in the right direction.
I remind myself daily why I started, who I’m doing this for, and where I’m headed. My journey is about impact, legacy, and authenticity. The ones who doubt today will either respect it later or stay watching from the sidelines. Either way, I’m going to keep elevating.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My journey is rooted in purpose—every bar, every beat, every move I make is intentional. As an artist, my mission is to inspire, uplift, and bring real substance back to the culture. I tell stories that people can feel, stories that reflect struggle, triumph, and everything in between. My music isn’t just about sound—it’s about impact.
What excites me the most is the power of authenticity. In an industry where so much is fabricated, I take pride in staying real, speaking my truth, and connecting with people on a deeper level. Music has always been more than entertainment for me—it’s a vehicle for change, a way to reach people who need to hear that they’re not alone in their journey.
Right now, I’m focused on completing my upcoming project, To Know Me Is To Love Me, which is some of my most personal and powerful work to date. The first single, “Who Do You Belong To,” released on January 29th, 2025, and it sets the tone for what’s coming. This album is a reflection of my growth, my battles, and my vision, and I can’t wait for the world to experience it.
Beyond the music, my brand represents resilience, self-belief, and breaking barriers. Whether it’s through my lyrics, performances, or collaborations, I want people to walk away feeling inspired to chase their own greatness. The journey continues, and I’m just getting started.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three key qualities have been most impactful in my journey: resilience, self-awareness, and discipline.
1. Resilience – The ability to push through obstacles, rejection, and setbacks is what separates those who make it from those who don’t. The industry, and life in general, will test you at every turn. I’ve learned that failure is just part of the process—it’s a lesson, not a loss. For those just starting out, understand that setbacks aren’t signs to quit; they’re opportunities to sharpen your craft and prove to yourself how bad you want it.
2. Self-Awareness – Knowing who you are, what you stand for, and what makes you unique is crucial. In a world that tries to shape you into whatever’s trending, staying true to yourself is your biggest strength. My advice? Take time to understand your vision, your message, and what sets you apart. That authenticity will not only attract the right people but also give your work depth and purpose.
3. Discipline – Talent alone isn’t enough; consistency and work ethic are what turn dreams into reality. I’ve seen countless talented people fall short because they lacked discipline. My advice: set a standard for yourself that doesn’t waver. Whether it’s writing daily, networking, studying the game, or sharpening your skills, put in the work even when no one’s watching. That’s what builds longevity.
At the end of the day, success isn’t just about skill—it’s about mindset. Stay locked in, stay learning, and most importantly, keep going.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely. I’m always open to collaborating with individuals who bring passion, authenticity, and a strong work ethic to the table. Whether it’s artists, producers, videographers, creatives, or business minds—if you’re about pushing boundaries and creating something meaningful, I want to connect.
I’m looking for people who are not just talented but also dedicated—those who understand the value of the grind and aren’t afraid to take risks. Whether it’s music, visuals, branding, or something outside the box, I’m interested in working with individuals who align with my vision of impact and longevity.
If you’re serious about collaborating, reach out through my social media or business email. Let’s build something real.
