We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gabriella “guitar Gabby” Logan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gabriella “Guitar Gabby” below.
Gabriella “Guitar Gabby”, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I believe self-esteem is something that requires constant growth as you grow in life. The central aspects of growing my self-esteem over the years have been rooted in my physical, mental, and spiritual health. There are seasons when my physical health was centered around me being an athlete; as I got older I transitioned from being an athlete to cycling, yoga, pilates, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I now ensure I incorporate some sort of physical exercise into my daily schedule.
Mental and spiritual health is important to me because I believe women aren’t always allowed to find space to prioritize their mental and spiritual health. We always have to show up in the world for others, sometimes to our detriment. As I have gotten older, I have found healing through meditation, journaling, and creative outlets such as crafting, painting, playing guitar, and finding new ways to listen and process music that heals, etc.
Finding consistent intentionality in each of these areas has allowed me to heal as I grow, while also allowing me to show up in the world better.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1) Self-love and time for self 2) consistency and intentionality 3) perspective
There are several others but these are some of the life principles that have helped me grow into the person I am today and continue to become. My advice to folks in the early stages is to take time finding/building your foundation. When life begins to life, your foundation and the principles that govern your foundation will help bring you back to your center.
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
Provide a safe space for me to build a foundation for myself while also providing unconditional love and support. I realize everyone does not have that, so I am very thankful to them for giving me that.
