Meet Gabrielle Jean

We recently connected with Gabrielle Jean and have shared our conversation below.

Gabrielle, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

My resilience really comes from my upbringing and the experiences that shaped me early on. Growing up, I watched my family work hard—nothing was ever handed to us. We had to earn everything, and that instilled a sense of independence in me from a young age. But it was losing my mother that truly tested my strength. When she passed, I felt like my world crumbled. I had to figure out how to pick up the pieces, not just for myself but also as a single mother.

There were days when I wasn’t sure how I’d get through, but I found purpose in those challenges. I realized I had to be resilient, not just for myself but for my child and the legacy I wanted to build. That’s where The Link Creative Agency was born—from a place of wanting to create something meaningful, a space where artists and creatives could find the support and empowerment they needed, something I often had to find on my own.

My work ethic and drive comes from my family, from seeing what it means to persevere, even when life gets tough. But I also learned the importance of surrounding myself with a supportive community. You can’t do it alone, and having people who believe in you can make all the difference.

To any woman out there facing difficulties, I’d say this: trust yourself. You have more strength than you realize. And don’t be afraid to reach out and connect with others. There’s power in community, in knowing you’re not alone. We’re all in this together, and sometimes, it’s the connections we make that give us the resilience to keep going.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My journey with The Link Creative Agency is rooted in my desire to create something meaningful for the artistic community—a place where artists, producers, writers, and brands can come together to create and preserve the quality of culture worldwide. Overcoming the challenges I’ve faced in my life, I’ve found purpose in supporting and empowering others to tell their stories and share their art.

The Link Creative is more than just a network; it’s a collective of elite talent committed to developing high-quality art, film, and music. We focus on fostering growth and education within the creative community by cultivating meaningful partnerships across all genres and mediums. Our goal is to align with like-minded individuals and organizations to expand the reach of our network, particularly through publishing and synch licensing. We’re passionate about collaboration, community, and innovation, and we’re dedicated to helping propel the development and education of the youth.

One of our most exciting initiatives is the Songmaker’s Camp and our monthly Road to TLC Camp events. These experiences truly embody what it means to be ‘On The Link.’ The Road to TLC Camp offers a unique networking opportunity, bringing together creative development, collaborative sessions, and access to industry professionals who are eager to help participants get their music placed. It’s more than just an event; it’s a preview of what The Link is all about.

The Link Creative Songmakers Camp, affectionately known as TLC Camp, is a weekend retreat that connects the elite music community with the career-makers within our network. Our mission is to polish and package the best of the best for the ultimate opportunity—agency representation. TLC CAMP 2024 is happening on September 6th and 7th at a stunning 7-bedroom estate spread across 4 acres. The focus will be on quality, education, music making, wellness, and networking, all set in an inspiring and beautiful location.

Our workshops are designed to educate emerging artists with the tools, resources, and connections they need to thrive in a competitive landscape. Whether it’s Public Relations, Performance, or Media training, we connect our participants with professionals who are genuinely invested in their success. It’s an experience like no other—equipped with two recording studios, multiple writing spaces, a gift shop, and even a bonfire pit.

At the heart of The Link Creative is a commitment to community and collaboration. We’re a collective of forward-thinking entrepreneurs who are dedicated to elevating independent creative projects. We believe in the power of inspiration through collaboration, and we invite others to join us on this unforgettable journey of creativity and growth.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey, three qualities and skills have been most impactful for me: spirituality, entrepreneurialism, and networking.

First, spirituality has always kept me grounded and humble. It’s the foundation that allows me to navigate the highs and lows of life with a sense of peace and purpose. No matter what challenges I face, my spirituality is what centers me and reminds me of why I do what I do.

Second, entrepreneurialism is what keeps me focused and motivated. Being an entrepreneur means constantly seeking new opportunities, pushing boundaries, and never settling for less. It’s about having the drive to turn your vision into reality, even when the path is unclear. My entrepreneurial spirit has been the fuel behind The Link Creative Agency, and it continues to drive me every day.

Lastly, networking is essential to staying relevant and productive. In this industry, your network is your net worth. The connections you make can open doors to opportunities you never imagined. Networking isn’t just about meeting people—it’s about building genuine relationships, learning from others, and always being open to collaboration. It’s been a key factor in my growth and the success of The Link Creative.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to be creative in how you make a living through your passion. Find that one thing you’re most passionate about—the thing that you love doing every day—and explore all the different ways you can be around it. For me, it’s always been about music and helping others live out their dreams. Supporting others in their journey has naturally led me into roles of leadership and influence. Now, all I want is to connect people, watch their work progress, and feed a culture I’m proud of. The Link Creative embodies all of those things for me.

So, focus on what you love, stay true to your values, and surround yourself with people who inspire and challenge you. That’s the recipe for growth and fulfillment.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

We’re thrilled to invite everyone to be a part of TLC CAMP 2024, a truly unique experience where artists, producers, and creatives come together to elevate their craft. It’s all about fostering creativity, collaboration, and growth in a setting that’s as inspiring as the work we create.
