Meet Galleria

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Galleria. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Galleria, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Growing up, I thought I was like the ugliest thing walking. This might have been due to the fact that everyone around me seemed to look completely different from me and got into so many relationships. I internalized this for such a long time, until the first time I was called “beautiful/handsome” by someone not in my family. From there, i carried myself as such. I would take selfies everyday, experiment with different looks, and walk as if the world was mine. Now keep in mind, I was never called ugly, but when your surroundings don’t help, it’s hard to believe that you can be anything else.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I do a lot to be honest. I create concept shoots for myself, I dance, I sing sometimes, I write (songs and scripts), but my end all/be all is acting. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience so many things from basketball to visual arts to playing instruments. Acting has been the true constant and something I actively pursue.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The best advice I can offer is to never change yourself for any reason. There’s gonna be people that want to mold you into their vision, but that’s not what anyone was born to do or be. With that said, the three things that helped me was confidence, self-worth, and a good community. I have a really good close circle that can help me in my decisions.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes ! I am always looking for creatives to work with. Whether it’s for acting, a model, music video shoots, anything ! I love seeing people’s visions come to life and just being around other creatives. With that said, you can reach me via Instagram (galleriaxo) OR my email which is [email protected]!
