Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Garcia Wittick. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Garcia, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose from deep within my pain. I once lived a life without meaning and purpose after being neglected and abused my the ones that I trusted the most. After getting beaten by all of life’s challenges, I became a victim of brokenness and shame. But then, I got tired of living in despair and without hope and decided to give life a chance. I learnt to forgive and sought forgiveness. I learnt to share from my struggles so that others who are experiencing similar won’t feel alone. And most importantly, I learnt to understand that since none of my brokenness did not kill me, I will definitely rise from it and use every experience as a stepping stone to fine better hope. The road to finding my purpose wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I am very happy I did.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an Author who write motivational books. my aim is leave a legacy of inspiration and hope behind. My stories derived from a place of personal hurt, growth and testimonies.
My brand is aimed towards broken, battered, abused and especially single mothers.
I do motivational speeches from the messages in my book. and other topic surrounding Finding purpose and hipe, motivations, abuses, etc.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities that most impacted my journey are:
1. Perseverance
2. Prayer
3. Hope
If you are going through a rough time and feel like giving up, remember that if you own up to these qualities, you will just make it out of your struggles.
– Perseverance – never feel the comfort to be stagnant in any messy situations. keep on persevering. Tell yourself that though the journey seems long and hard, remember that everything lasts only for a while and a change is imminent. So, though you feel overwhelmed, hold onto the faith of long-suffering, knowing that everything has a season, And your season of breakthrough is coming.
– Prayer – Prayer is the only and best weapon that we need through some of our difficult times. I know sometimes you will be lost for words on what to say to God, but tears are a language that God understands. Don’t forget to pray, pray, pray! God hears your prayers, and he will grant you the desires of your hears, according to his will.
– Hope – If you believe that you can rise from above your struggles no matter how long it takes, then that’s Hope! Don’t ever give up on Hope. It is one of the most important tools that you will need during your time of brokenness.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Growing up, I have always seen my mother praying. And I have emulated that from her. When in doubt and despair. When in fear and hopelessness, I always combat those challenges with prayer.
