Meet Garima Gupta

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Garima Gupta. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Garima below.

Hi Garima, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from watching my father build everything from scratch. Growing up, I saw firsthand what it looks like to create a life with your own two hands. My dad didn’t shy away from any task—whether it was small, tedious, or monumental. He approached everything with the same grit and determination, and over the years, I watched him turn those everyday efforts into a successful business empire. That environment shaped me. It taught me that consistency, humility, and hard work are the foundation of real success.

That early nurturing became my compass when I moved from a large joint family to the U.S., suddenly without the comfort and community I was used to. I had to rebuild—my support system, my identity, my sense of belonging. From building a marriage to raising my children to now building my own business, I’ve had to start from scratch more than once. And each time, I’ve leaned on the same values I grew up with: show up, stay grounded, and don’t give up.

My resilience is a blend of my childhood inspiration and my adult journey—rooted in what I witnessed at home and strengthened by the life I’ve built here. It’s a reminder that no matter how unfamiliar or challenging the path is, you can always begin again, and you can always rise.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach and the founder of Trailblazing Kitchen, an Indian-inspired artisanal snack brand. I create small-batch, handcrafted trail mixes and energy bites that blend clean, functional nutrition with the flavors and traditions I grew up with. What excites me most is bringing the wisdom of my culture into the modern world in a way that feels accessible, delicious, and nourishing for busy families.

Trailblazing Kitchen started as a cottage food business in my home kitchen, driven by a simple mission: to make wholesome, real-ingredient snacks that parents can trust and kids actually enjoy. Everything I create is vegan, gluten free, grain-free, and refined sugar free – thoughtfully sourced, and made with the intention of supporting better energy, gut health, and balanced living.

What makes the brand special is the story behind every product—inspired by how I was raised and the way I raise my own children. An amalgamation of my culture, my expertise and my experience as a Coach and Chef. It’s food made with purpose, not preservatives.

Right now, I’m expanding the product line with new flavors of trail mixes and energy bites, and growing our presence in local markets, boutique stores, and community spaces. I’m also working on collaborations with small businesses that share our values of clean eating, culture, and craftsmanship.

Trailblazing Kitchen is still small, still handcrafted, and still rooted in heart—but it’s growing. And I’m excited for more people to experience what we’re creating

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three qualities that truly shaped my journey were the ability to pivot, the courage to evolve, and the humility to stay open to feedback. Nothing meaningful grows without change, and every time I allowed myself to shift direction, learn something new, or listen—really listen—to the people around me, I found myself moving closer to the vision I had in my heart. I am constantly educating myself and truly believe in learning and growing in every are of my life.

For anyone just starting out, my biggest advice is this:
Talk to people. – Don’t be afraid to reach out to people, most of the people I reached out to for advice, were more than willing to talk….The more stories you hear, the more possibilities you’ll see.

Research everything. Knowledge gives you confidence, clarity, and direction.

And above all, hold on tightly to the ideas you believe in. If something lights you up from within, it’s worth fighting for. Progress may feel slow, doors may close, but belief has a way of opening the right ones at the right time.

If you stay curious, stay brave, and stay committed, what you imagine for yourself will find its way into reality. Believe in it long enough—and it will happen.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always open to partnering with people and businesses who share the same heart for clean, purposeful, culturally inspired food. Trailblazing Kitchen is built on community, and collaboration is one of the most beautiful ways to grow that community.

I’m especially interested in connecting with:

• Local boutiques, cafés, and wellness-centered stores that want to offer their customers wholesome, handcrafted snacks.

• South Asian creators, small businesses, and community groups who celebrate culture, craft, and heritage.

• Health, wellness, and lifestyle professionals who believe in mindful eating and want to introduce functional, real-ingredient snacks to their audience.

• Event organizers, gifting companies, and corporate wellness programs looking for elevated, thoughtful food experiences.
