Meet Gaspara Cole

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gaspara Cole. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Gaspara, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?

On my self care days (which are crucial for a reset!) I turn the world off. Meditation has helped me a lot in keeping a balanced, positive outlook on life and whatever it may endure. Because I work on the body, it is so important for me to take time to myself after my clients.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Gaspara Cole I am a holistic esthetician and integrative wellness creator. I specialize in holistic health and touch therapy. It’s so special to me because I’m all about connection and community. I love to connect with people through wellness and creating a safe comfortable space for people to be 100% free and themselves. My new product, MycoZen, has been a game changer. Using Bioceutical mushrooms and anti-inflammatory herbs, this helps reduce pain and inflammation from arthritis, sore muscles, and even scar tissue! Working with post op clients, most people are in a vulnerable state. It’s so important for me to offer support in making them comfortable.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three qualities stand out as essential to my journey: confidence, knowledge, and touch. Confidence helps you stand firm in your vision, even when challenges arise. Knowledge, whether gained through research or experience, builds trust with your audience and helps you innovate. And touch—both literally and metaphorically—is about connecting with people and products on a deeper level. For anyone starting out, I’d say focus on building your confidence by embracing your unique approach, never stop learning, and always prioritize connection—whether it’s with your craft, your clients, or your community.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

One book that has greatly influenced my growth is Disruptive Thinking by T.D. Jakes. It’s a powerful guide that encourages breaking free from conventional patterns and embracing bold, innovative approaches, even when it feels uncertain or challenging.
One of the lessons that really stood out to me was the value of stepping out of your comfort zone. T.D. Jakes highlights how comfort can be a barrier to progress and that real growth happens when you’re willing to embrace discomfort and take risks. Another key insight was the idea that the questions we ask determine the solutions we discover. This shifted how I approach challenges, teaching me to look at problems with curiosity and a willingness to explore new possibilities. What I love most about the book is how it reframes disruption as a positive force—an opportunity to create, innovate, and find new paths forward. It changed the way I view uncertainty, helping me see it not as something to avoid but as a chance to think differently and grow in ways I never imagined.
