Meet Gb Flame

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gb Flame a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

GB , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

I keep my creativity alive by being very intentional. I do this by stepping out of my comfort zone with various beat selections and experimenting with several sub genres. I accept and welcome constructive criticism and it truly helps me perfect my craft. I follow the formulas and blueprints created from the great artists before me. I stay persistent and use all life experiences when creating my songs. I put myself around like-minded creatives and make genuine connections with the people in the community. When i see the reaction from my children, new listeners, and seasoned fans, its sparks something inside me and keeps my creativity at its peak. I consistently explore diverse experiences, embrace different points of view, and create time and space daily for intentional creative practice, I not only inspire others, but I keep my own creativity alive.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am focused on developing my artistic career and putting myself inside of the right rooms at the perfect time. I am working on creating a legendary brand filled with unique creatives inside of Flame Music Group. I am headlining my first major event March 22nd at the Wyldfire showcase. What makes my brand special is the ability to connect with all walks of life. My music is relatable, and my true mission is to inspire my listeners to be their authentic self.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Persistence

Persistence is the having the ability to do something towards your craft everyday despite your mood or situation.

2. Studious

Being studious is the ability to listen and actively seek knowledge.

3. Intentional

Being intentional includes deadlines and deliberate follow through.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I only want to collaborate with real people. I want the value of their experiences to enrich my brand. I am looking for people that want to bless their community. Creatives can connect with me through any of my links posted on this article.
