Meet Gena Strung

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gena Strung. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Gena, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I built Meridien by paying attention to what I couldn’t find for myself: a place where driven, high-functioning women could genuinely slow down. I know what it’s like to hold everything together, to stay in motion, to give more than you receive. I wanted to create a space that feels beautiful and indulgent – something women genuinely look forward to.

Meridien is that vision. Deep red infrared light, candlelit warmth, curated essential oils, and the rose as our signature symbol. Every detail is designed to support regulation, restoration, and refined femininity.

Our studio exists as a resting space within a busy life – designed to support recovery so you can move with greater clarity and capacity.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Meridien is a luxury acupuncture and holistic beauty studio focused on precision, regulation, and results. We combine traditional Chinese medicine with modern aesthetic treatments – including holistic microneedling, facial acupuncture, and our signature Cellular Cleanse – to support both skin health and systemic balance.

What differentiates Meridien is a nervous-system–led approach to beauty. Each session is designed to affect the whole state, not just the surface. Skin tone improves, breathing slows, and the body shifts out of constant activation. The result is a more natural expression of beauty that lasts

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that shaped my journey are intuition, confidence, and refinement.

Intuition guided me long before I had the business language to support my decisions. Meridien was built from a feeling first. My advice: trust what pulls you – it’s often the right direction.

Confidence was built through practice. Making decisions, standing behind them, and seeing the results created trust within myself. As Meridien evolved, that confidence became my North Star and limited outside noise and distractions.

Refinement became the signature of my brand. The details – pacing, texture, atmosphere – matter more than people realize. Develop a strong eye by studying what inspires you, then edit until the work feels unmistakably your own.

Those three qualities formed the foundation of Meridien and continue to guide how I build, grow, and evolve the business.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Meridien is in a season of expansion, and collaboration has become a natural part of that evolution. I’m drawn to creatives and brands who value precision, artistry, and detail. We’re also moving into the product space, developing luxury lifestyle pieces that carry the same refined aesthetic as the studio. Each product is designed to extend the Meridien world into everyday life – thoughtful, tactile, and rooted in our signature elegance.
