Meet Geno Pacino

We were lucky to catch up with Geno Pacino recently and have shared our conversation below.

Geno , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
Having had been through so many obstacles & challenges in my life I wake up everyday with the belief that my tomorrow has to be better than today. I always stay upbeat & never give up. It’s an internal optimism that always stays with me.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m an artist named Geno Pacino based out of Chicago. I paint pictures in melodic form if I had to describe what I do. I have been an artist for years but these past 5 years I have been consistently dropping projects. My most recent album Pacino Season 3 & my most recent singles UFHO, The Remedy ( Self-Love 💘) Anthem are available on all the streaming platforms right now. ” . My focus with my music is spreading my positive influence throughout the world. If you listen to me I speak on both a wide range of subjects and have a wide range musically. I have street music, gospel songs, relationship songs, songs where I’m just expressing my anger & everything in between you name it I do it.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Determination is the biggest quality that got me this far. I never took no for an answer. Actual talent is a must when you are creating music. And opportunity is a necessity no matter how good you believe you are. If you can’t get your music in front of the right people it just becomes a depreciating asset, For someone early in their career I would say learn the business first.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My mom would tell me all the time ” Be Your Own Hero ” to always believe in myself & don’t allow myself to be defined by other people. Self Love is the best kind of love.
