We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Geremy Davis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Geremy below.
Hi Geremy , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose in what Christ did for me on the cross. He not only saved me but also gave me a unique athletic skill set to use in a way that honors Him. Playing six years in the NFL was an incredible experience, but when that chapter ended, I had to ask myself, “What’s next?” I still had the drive to compete—and a heart for people to know Christ.
That’s when Golf and Gospel was born. God gave me a platform to continue using my athletic gifts, competing with others while sharing the good news of what He’s done for the world through His sacrifice.
Ultimately, my purpose is to reflect His character and make His name known—on the golf course and beyond.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
What’s special about what I do in the golf space is that I’ve chosen to be different. Golf is a saturated market—everyone wants to be part of it, and I get it. Golf is fun, it’s challenging, and it’s beautiful. But without a clear purpose or niche, your voice can easily get lost among countless creators.
When I started Golf and Gospel, I didn’t see many people who looked like me creating long-form golf content, and more importantly, I didn’t see a Christ-centered presence in the space. Some might say the gospel doesn’t belong in golf, but I believe otherwise. If Christ is truly number one in my life, why would I limit Him to Sunday?
Through Golf and Gospel, I get to compete, showcase my skills—and even my shortcomings—while having honest, faith-filled conversations about Jesus, sports, and culture. I’ve had the privilege of filming with professionals like Ted Scott, Amy Olson, and Emma Talley, and partnering with talented Epson Tour players like Haile Cooper, Maddie McCrary, and Gina Kim.
What excites me most is seeing athletes boldly live out their faith while displaying incredible talent on the course. That’s the heart of Golf and Gospel—combining competition, conversation, and Christ to inspire others both on and off the fairway.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The first and most important quality is being deeply rooted in Scripture. I want to make sure I’m sharing the gospel accurately and in context, communicating it in a way that draws people in—sparking curiosity about who Jesus is or even leading them to fully surrender their lives to Him.
Second, it’s essential to stay up to date with the golf world—from the PGA and LPGA to the Epson Tour and LIV Golf. I love the sport, and I believe staying informed helps me connect with the audience while bringing a credible and relevant voice to the conversation.
Lastly, I value work ethic and continuous growth as a golfer. I miss the grind of the NFL—those long days of route running, film study, and practice. Now that same drive fuels me to get better off the tee, read greens more effectively, and refine my swing mechanics. My goal is to earn respect not only for how I share the gospel but also for how I play the game.
My advice to others is this: whatever space you’re in, take the time to learn it inside and out. Keep growing, stay informed, and educate yourself—so when people encounter your brand, they see it as both inspiring and resourceful.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
When it comes to collaboration, I don’t show partiality. Whether you have 500,000 followers or you’re a high school teacher with just a Facebook account—if you love Jesus and love to compete in the game of golf, let’s make it happen.
Everyone’s story and testimony carry influence, no matter who you are. While I’d love to collaborate more with sports ministries and professional athletes, I never want partnerships to feel transactional. Too often in the content space, people measure value by followers or views—but that’s not what Golf and Gospel is about.
At the heart of it all, my focus is on partnering with people who have a genuine passion for Christ and a love for the game. If our collaboration can inspire others to know Him while entertaining and uplifting viewers, then that’s a win every time.
