Meet Gia Ram

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gia Ram. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gia below.

Gia, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

I keep my creativity alive with new experiences, different cultures, travelling and most importantly the people that surround me. I learn a lot from seeing how different people share their love and express themselves. I take it in, and make it into art. I also stay curious, constantly exploring new topics and ideas that fuel my work, and I love connecting with other artists to gain fresh perspectives.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

What I do is I combine what I love the most, which is art/fashion and design. What makes it exciting is that blend that fashion and art can create, for me it leads to unique and limited edition pieces that I carefully curate with the purpose to bring joy and lots of colors to everyone’s lives.

I think the key factor is believing in yourself / loving yourself and sharing that love with the world. Art pieces stay with you forever and I want the same to happen with fashion items and clothes! Therefore quality plays a huge role in my life and brand, hence why all my creations are produced in small quantities. They all make us unique, as each fashion item is like art piece.

Most of all, I want all clothes to hold the best memories, to bring you the feeling after finding the items a few years later in your closet you get a heartwarming feeling and cant wait to wear it again! The best joy would be that my creations say with you forever and bring you joy for a long long time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are patience, belief in myself, and accepting who I am. Patience has allowed me to grow and evolve as an artist without rushing the process, giving me the space to experiment and learn from my mistakes. Believing in myself has been crucial for pushing past doubts and challenges, especially when things seemed uncertain. Lastly, accepting myself has helped me embrace my unique style rather than comparing myself to others. For those just starting out, my advice is to practice patience, trust in your own abilities, and embrace who you are as an artist—don’t be afraid to let your individuality shine.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

Over the last year, the greatest growth can easily be reflected in the direction I have been positioning my brand. As the founder of GIA RAM, I’ve expanded our brand presence, refined our product offerings, and deepen my connection with all my followers, customers, and like-minded individuals. While my main focus in previous years was spreading love through art, I have decided to move into creating unique pieces of clothing and items for people to wear around the globe. With the launch of our 3rd drop of clothing, I can firmly reflect that we are shifting our vision to quality, craftsmanship, and of course a lot of fun and colors! On a personal level, becoming a mother has given me a fresh perspective, inspiring new ideas and reinforcing the importance of creating meaningful, lasting designs. It has also helped me sharpen my focus, ensuring that everything we bring to life at GIA RAM is intentional and of the highest quality.
