Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gifti Moiwa. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gifti, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Self Confidence and Self Esteem are a continuous journey that gets better with consistency and resilience. I just learned through personal experiences and that of others that everything begins with Self-Love. I came to a realization that I am a hundred percent responsible for my Happiness in this world, so I started to Love and appreciate myself for everything that I am while doing what I can to become a better version of myself each day. I’ve learned to look within instead of seeking things outside of myself. It’s also key to remember that we are all wonderfully made and unique in our own ways so there’s absolutely no need for comparisons, which we’ve heard said that it’s a thief of joy, which is absolutely true.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’ve always been passionate about Art and I believe Life itself is Art. Some of My favorite forms of Art besides The Technical Art itself are Fashion, Photography, Music, Food, and Travel /Nature/Landscape.
Blogging and Modeling has allowed me to express many of these passions of mine.
I would love to venture into a career where I can fully indulge in my dreams while helping others to make the most of their lives and become Their Higher Selves.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
This sounds very Cliche but I would say Live Laugh Love is a motto I live by.
Life can be hectic sometimes however, we were not put on this planet to just exist mindlessly.
It’s important to make time to Live (whatever that means for you). Even though I work full time in the healthcare field I make it a goal to do things that sets my soul on fire such as Modeling, traveling, or something as simple as watching the sunset or treating myself to one of my favorite foods.
Laugh often – it’s good for the spirit to not allow the ups and downs of life to steal your Joy. I find myself just in tears from laughter sometimes while scrolling and coming across funny memes or videos online.
I have come to the biggest realization that Love is the key to everything. We are all dealing with something so, it’s important to spread love and kindness. I sometimes say to myself and others that if the entire world had true love for one another there would most likely be a lot less pain and suffering. Also remember to show love to yourself because you deserve it as well.
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I have been intrigued ever since I came across Knowledge about the Power of our Minds (especially the subconscious mind).
Almost everything stems from it. It impacts how we see ourselves and the world around us.
Once I came to that realization I became more conscious of what I’m feeding my mind and the thoughts I entertain.
Rewiring my Brain and releasing any patterns of thinking that doesn’t align with My Higher Self has been one of my Biggest improvements.
When we do the inner work a lot of things on the outside starts to change for the better as well.
Some of the Books that have majorly impacted me are: The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy, the Bible, which surprisingly has so many Gems on how to live a happier, successful, and more fulfilling life in general (especially the book of Proverbs), and my current Favorite, which was recommended to me by an amazing Uber driver recently is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz; All about how our Mental Self Image can make or break us.
Sending Peace and Love to All. ✨
