Meet Gina And Bobby

We recently connected with Gina And Bobby and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina and Bobby, really appreciate you joining us to talk about a really relevant, albeit unfortunate topic – layoffs and getting fired. Can you talk to us about your experience and how you overcame being let go?

I took my power back and filed a whistleblower lawsuit, for wrongful termination. I stood up to a giant company, that others were too intimidated to.

I always keep myself busy. I’m able to use my creativity on our YouTube channel. We are able to travel more. Doing our best to stop and smell the flowers. Having faith that God will provide.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I never liked the saying about; “blessings in disguise”. But I find that it rings true quite often.

My devastating loss of a 16 year career, turned into a “blessing in disguise”.

No more missed holidays. No more 12 hour days. No more seven day work weeks. No more being taken advantage of. A new lease on life. Time to slow down to, “stop and smell the flowers”.

We feel so blessed to be able to travel and experience life. We get to share the beautiful coastal town we live in. We get to participate in community events. I’m able to cook more meals at home. We are able to go on more date nights, in our classic Ford Bronco. And even better ;we get to share it with our viewers. Livin Curiously on YouTube. It’s such a pleasure to share our lives on our channel. We appreciate every single viewer.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Willing to put ourselves out there.

2. Patience to learn new things.

3. Always ignore the haters!!!

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
