We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gina & Karina a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina & Karina, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Creating a new business while both having a full-time job has not been easy. We both dedicate a lot of our free time on weekends and late nights working to build Best of You Wellness. Despite being tired after a full work day and managing our own personal lives, we still make sure that our clients are our top priority. Although we just launched in September 2023, we know the potential that our business has, which keeps us motivated even on our hardest days.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Best of You Wellness first began with Body Vibe Fitness, in-person training. As founder and CEO of Body Vibe Fitness, Gina began training Karina as one of her clients. At the time, Karina was unhappy with her body and how she felt – low confidence and self-esteem. She knew that she needed to make a change and couldn’t do it on her own. With the help of Gina, Karina made a complete 180 transforming not only her physical appearance but her mental and emotional health as well.

Although we started off as a trainer-client relationship, we would motivate one another and hold each other accountable. Karina quickly became the workout bestie that Gina always wanted. If it wasn’t for us working together first, we wouldn’t have become so close and built Best of You Wellness. Being on this journey together has inspired us to build a community where women feel supported and not alone.

Best of You Wellness focuses on fitness, nutrition, mindset, and habits coaching. We offer a 2:1 personalized approach for women struggling with confidence, discipline, and making health a priority. We believe that taking care of our physical and mental well-being is crucial for living a fulfilling life. Our goal is to show women what they are truly capable of so that they can look and feel their absolute best.

Our team consists of Coaches Gina and Karina. Gina is a NASM certified fitness & nutrition coach with a background in psychology. In 2018, she launched Body Vibe Fitness, where she began coaching women through boot camps and 1:1 sessions. Since then, her mission has been to become an expert and make an impact in the health and fitness industry. Karina is a NASM Certified Wellness Coach. Her passion was fueled through pageantry and continued to evolve as Gina’s former client, where she built on her discipline and self-worth. It felt only right through her lifestyle transformation to share it with as many women as possible.

Our services include online coaching packages where we help women:

-Improve physical health (reduce body fat, build muscle, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase flexibility)

-Create healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits and routines

-Learn how to nourish your body and eat for your goals

-Gain confidence and discipline

-Become the best version of you

While our Do It For You Program is personalized to each woman, our ideal client is a woman who is trying to get back into a consistent routine and build discipline, wants to reset her body and mind, is looking to maintain healthy habits and prioritize her goals and/or feels burnt out (increased stress, disrupted sleep quality, and low energy). We always aim to meet our clients where they are and help create a sustainable lifestyle with long term results!

We don’t believe in shortcuts or quick results. Our process focuses on building discipline and creating healthier habits in order to create a sustainable lifestyle. We believe in the importance of empowering our clients through simple education so that they can make the best decisions for their body.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Commitment, Education and Growth are three qualities, skills or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful in our journey. We know that in our industry, things are constantly evolving so we do our best to continue to remain knowledgeable and in the know so that we can best serve our clients and have a great impact in their journey. Advice that we have for those who are early in their journey would be that success does not happen overnight. It’s going to take time to grow and build trust with your audience. It’s important to keep showing up even when you don’t see immediate results. Eventually, you will attract your ideal clients and begin growing your business.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
While our Do It For You Program is personalized to each woman and best suited for those who want to get back on track and establish a routine.
