Meet Ginette Rhodes

We were lucky to catch up with Ginette Rhodes recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ginette , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
Life can be very challenging at times and no one is immune to that. What I’ve learned is despite the highs and lows that life may bring, all we can do is do our best. As long as we keep going and look forward to the future things will improve but if we give up… it ends there.
There are times when it’s best to walk away and times to remain resilient and steadfast. I am a firm believer in faith and trust that God will always reveal what the best solution is when tackling life’s challenges.
I’ve remained resilient because I no longer strive for perfection, I try my very best and know that as a human being, that is more than enough. 🙂

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
We love to make cold-pressed juices for our national community of wellness seekers lovingly called “Kiwis”.  Every juice is handmade in small batches to ensure quality. We ship each frozen juice to your doorstep no matter the state you live in.
Our juices are our way of stepping in for countless families and individuals who desire to incorporate more fresh raw fruits and veggies in their diets but may simply not have the time. We make juicing convenient and take care of the messy work.
In addition to our tasty and nutritious cold-pressed juices, we also provide an assortment of over a thousand organic herbs, teas, and spices that ship internationally. We pay homage to the ancestral land and indigenous techniques from aboriginal and native people across the globe who for centuries have used herbs to improve wellness.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Patience is first because it is synonymous with self-forgiveness in my book. You may not always do things right the first time. I believe it takes 10,000 hours to master anything. I’ve learned to have patience in improving my craft and not freaking out and throwing in the towel if I do something incorrectly. I’m patient with the growth of my company, and the funding and exposure my brand receives because it’s all in God’s timing.
Next is persistence, persistence comes from a commitment to a desired outcome. I take it bit by bit at my own pace because I know the “turtle wins the race”. I do not rush or stress myself to perform in a way that will harm my growth. I stay persistent by going at a safe and sustainable pace.
Passion drives it all! Choose a niche that you’d love to explore even if it wasn’t able to capitalize on. I love health and wellness, I love cold-pressed juices and I love herbalism. I also love you, the Earth, and Netty’s. All of this love fuels me to keep going. 🙂

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My Dad has been my backbone. He’s so logical and supportive of me as I chose to chart my own path. He’s instilled in me self-confidence in my own capacities and intelligence. I love that my dad trusts me to succeed in whatever I do and is there to cushion my fall if I fly too close to the sun.

My mom is a fountain of love that rejuvenates me in harsh times. She’s gentle and kind and very spiritually guided. She’s great to talk to and very helpful in her own unique way.
