Meet Glass Cities

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Glass Cities. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Glass below.

Glass, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
We think as first generation immigrants we are to encounter challenges by default at very early stages in our journey, it turns out becoming second nature to overcome any type of situation with a very firm pace and conviction. Plus as musicians I think we also see life through different lenses and it’s a mindset we are very grateful to practice.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hailing from the vibrant streets of Miami, Florida, Glass Cities are a dynamic three-piece alternative band that has been setting the music scene ablaze since their formation in
2023. Comprised of first generation immigrants by lead vocalist and guitarist Luis
Salazar, bassist Sam Ross, and drummer Omar Gonzalez- the band follows an
aesthetic resonating to Twenty One Pilots meets Foals and Paramore. Their statement
is based on the current non-existence of genres; bending limits, borders, cultures and
frequencies.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Don’t give up practicing what you intent until at least you’ve done it the first 1000 times.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We would love to work with a bunch of people from the industry, folks we admire and respect- maybe support them on tour or collaborate in any type of outlet. Among them we can mention Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood, Blue Stones, Milky Chance, Half-Alive, Alt-J, Glass Animals, Portugal. The Man, Dead Pony, Durry, Girl in red, Yungblood, and many more!!
