Meet Gotti

We were lucky to catch up with Gotti recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Gotti, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

I’m use to people being intimidated by me. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea because I’m very confident within myself. I have a lot of self love and very in tuned with myself and emotions. I can come off as too much or iffy for someone who is not as confident within. Despite the hater I stay persistent by using them as a motivation. It’s a fuel that makes me go even harder. If you think deeper a hater don’t really hate you, it’s an insecurity they have within that reflex where they want to be. I’ve always remember if a person try to bring you down, they’re already below you.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m GottiThaStylist aka That Girl Gotti. I am a hairstylist, social media influencer, and content creator. I’m living my dream life, doing hair has always been my childhood dream job and honestly I don’t see it as a job it’s like an hobby to me even with content creating. I’ve turned my hobbies into my money makers that’s a trick to a happy life. I’ve been doing hair professionally for 4 years now I specialize mainly in wigs but I can do anything you ask me too honestly. I really take pride in my work I love what I do very much.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Communication , confidence , and consistency
It is important to be open and communicate while being a hairstylist and content creator because with being a hairstylist your constantly talking to people and you have to stay professional but open at the same time to make your clients comfortable and with being a content creator your constantly filming as if your talking to your audience right in front of you in the moment.
Confidence is needed, you have to show up as if you know what your doing and saying or people won’t take you serious.
You have to stay consistent that’s the main key in order to see results it takes consistency.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The 48 books of law and the secret play an important role in my development. It helps you to learn how to attract, manifest, and understanding human ways. I recommend you all to go read both it’s very helpful in life.
