Meet Gracie Smith

We recently connected with Gracie Smith and have shared our conversation below.

Gracie , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
Since I am a blogger, I try to do different themed posts based on the seasons or what’s happening that week. For example, I sell She’s Birdie alarms and Vera Bradley (all of my affiliate links are below) and I create a social media post based on the season and month. For example, since it August, I have been pushing back to school themed posts. Next month, I will start adding Halloween themed posts and then on to Christmas.

Here are al the things I sell on my blog and included are the links and the codes. Follow the links and use the codes to get a discount on your purchase.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I blog about recipes that I have created myself. My blog was born of the concept that cooking should be enjoyable and not stressful or tedious. The most exciting part to me is going to the store that week and finding new foods to add to my recipes.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
One skill I have is the ability to target different audiences with my posts. I can rebrand the same item to several different groups of people to make it look appealing to each one.

Another skill I have is the ability to be creative with my posts. I love adding little details to my posts, such as hearts for a Valentine’s theme, or shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day.

Another skill that I acquired was during college. I majored in Communications with concentrations in Public Relations and Media so those skills helped set me up for success in my blogging journey. I actually took a blogging class in college and created a restaurant review blog.

If you are early in your blogging journey, create the content that excites you and do not base it on what you think others will like. You have to be happy with your own work first.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am open to any type of collaboration (guest post, item review, compensated post). If you think I am the right fit then send me and email and mention that you found me from this article.
