Meet Gregorio Lozano III

We recently connected with Gregorio Lozano III and have shared our conversation below.

Gregorio, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

Growing up in a challenging familial environment, the odds were stacked against me of ever getting to the place I’m at now. I had many risk factors that would normally predict a different outcome.
For me personally, it took a combination of two different experiences to help me heal enough to what I can confidentially say, “as good as it gets.” The first experience is walking closer to God through Jesus Christ. Secondly, coming across a specific form of therapy that during training and learning it, came to solidify my healing. Both of these experiences, together, added to even more healing in which I came to truly know and feel what actual inner peace is. This is where confidence comes in because you’re better able to discern what you’re capable of achieving and what is beyond your reach.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I launched my own private practice that I named, Branch of Wellness Counseling PLLC, a mental/behavioral health private practice that specializes in helping individuals struggling in their relationships. Whether it’s an individual or a couple, I help people learn how to reconnect w/ each other.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Perseverance: My first two encounters with long term accomplishments were the achievement of an advanced level of a martial art that requires time, effort, and commitment to learn and work towards mastering. This is especially difficult because it goes against the human body’s natural tendencies. The second situation that took place simultaneously was the accomplishment of my undergraduate degree. These two were my first major accomplishments in life, as it was the first time in my life in which I had to work toward something long term that was optional and not mandatory (e.g., high school).

Passion: When you strongly desire something, you will work hard to get to where you want to be. Any obstacles become doable because your passion towards your goal outweighs the setbacks.

Vision: Whereas passion is personal to me, the vision I had for my career extends outward. My vision in making an impact in this world was to help people heal. When people heal, society becomes better for everyone. This became personal through my relationship with Christ, and professional with the work that I do as a relationship therapist. Now, I have combined both and formed one overall vision for my life.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

In addition to continuing to always have clients seek my services, I would also like to partner with other professionals who share the same vision: changing this world, one relationship at a time.
My future plans are to look for a building or an office space setting that I could purchase and turn into a group practice where I can provide services that are in line with my vision. In collaborating with others, I seek professionals that could help me find a building to purchase, hire therapists and help get them credentialed with insurance panels, and get this group practice going. Anyone who shares this similar vision can find me on LinkedIn or through my own website at www.BranchOfWellnessCounseling.com
