We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Greta Zenelaj. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Greta below.
Greta , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
My optimism comes from God and His calling. I truly believe that He placed me here with a purpose, and that gives me both hope and strength, no matter the challenges I face. Whenever I feel discouraged, I look back at how God has guided me in the past and it reminds me to trust Him for the future. My drive and creativity also flow from Him and from His creation—whether it’s the beauty of nature, the complexity of people, or the stories written in the Bible, I find endless inspiration. For me, optimism isn’t just about positive thinking—it’s about faith, gratitude, and seeing every day as an opportunity to reflect His light in the work I do.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m currently working on a project that brings Bible stories to life through animation. It’s been an exciting but challenging journey, finding the right artists who share the same vision and can collaborate to create a cohesive final product takes time and care. Orchestrating all the elements of animation, sound, and editing effects can be complex, but I trust that God is guiding every step.
What I love most about this work is that it combines creativity with purpose. I get to tell timeless, uplifting stories in a way that can inspire and connect with people of all ages. Each project is a chance to explore new artistic ideas while staying true to the message of the Bible. Professionally, my focus is on creating content that is both visually compelling and spiritually meaningful.
For readers who are curious about what’s coming next, this project is launching soon as a series of animated Bible stories, and my goal is to make it accessible to as many people as possible. My brand, Colored Films, is all about combining faith, storytelling, and artistry to create something beautiful that can leave a lasting impact.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are preparation, wisdom, and the ability to take action. Preparation is key to everything—it lays the foundation for success and helps you approach challenges with confidence. Wisdom comes from reflecting and thinking carefully before making a move, learning from experience, and seeking guidance when needed. And finally, action—while reflection and preparation are important, you can’t wait too long or you risk never taking the step at all.
For those early in their journey, my advice would be to focus on building these three areas simultaneously: prepare thoroughly, take time to think and gain insight, and then step forward with courage. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because each one teaches you something valuable. Developing discipline around preparation and reflection, while also trusting yourself to act, can set a strong foundation for long-term success.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Bible has been the most important book in my life. Psalms and Proverbs, in particular, are so rich—they touch on every aspect of life: what was, what is, and what can be. It’s natural that some things evolve over time, but the essence of life and truth is always there. I try to live my life guided by that wisdom. I don’t get it right all the time, but I strive to learn and apply its lessons as best I can.
Some of the most impactful nuggets of wisdom for me include the importance of patience and trust in God’s timing, the value of humility and self-reflection, and the encouragement to speak and act with integrity. These teachings continually shape my decisions, my creativity, and the way I approach both challenges and opportunities in life.
