We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Guimar Urbina Head Designer And Founder Of Guimar Urbina Interiors And Guimar Urbina Home. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Guimar Urbina below.

Guimar Urbina, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I discovered my purpose when I realized that designing is not just a source of joy for me, but a profound way to connect with my clients’ lives. Creating spaces means becoming part of their most intimate moments, as they will live, laugh, and create memories in a place that reflects not only their personality but also carries a touch of my essence as a designer. This realization gave me a deep sense of fulfillment and passion for my work.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Guimar Urbina Interiors is a luxury design firm that redefines traditional interior design through an innovative and refreshing approach. We offer a boutique experience that goes far beyond space planning and furniture selection, ensuring that every detail is curated for an extraordinary client journey. With over 17 years of experience, I have had the privilege of designing spaces that merge timeless elegance with personalized touches.

I also expanded my passion into launching Guimar Urbina HOME, a collection that includes exclusive wallcoverings and drapery, adding another layer of custom luxury to the spaces we create. One of the most exciting aspects of our work is fostering connections with clients by offering a complimentary first visit, allowing us to discuss their vision and set the foundation for a transformative experience. To book this initial consultation, we invite clients to contact our design studio. This is just one way we ensure every project starts with care and precision, making the process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Reflecting on my journey, I can identify three key qualities that have been most impactful: discipline, an unwavering love and passion for my work, and the courage to take risks while trusting in myself, my values, and my goals. Discipline has kept me focused and resilient through challenges, while my deep passion for design has fueled my creativity and commitment. Embracing risks and trusting myself allowed me to push boundaries and grow beyond my comfort zone.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to remain one hundred percent loyal to your vision and passions. Your unique perspective is your strength, and if you stay true to what you love, success will unfold naturally. Nurture your discipline and continuously cultivate your enthusiasm—it will guide you even in the most difficult moments.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who clearly understands their needs and daily activities and places complete trust in the Guimar Urbina Interiors team. This trust is essential because it allows us to do what we excel at: executing their interior design project on time and with flawless precision, without the typical stress and complications of renovations. Our primary goal is to create a seamless and stress-free experience, ensuring that the journey of transforming their space is as enjoyable and fulfilling as the final result.
