Meet Hailey Ross

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Hailey Ross . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Hailey , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My mom. She taught me to live my dream and how to get there. She taught me to be a leader and to be confident in whatever I do, no matter what.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a Saint louis based wedding and lifestyle photographer. I love meeting new people and telling their story because there’s always one to tell. Everyone has a story right?

I love to document your day whether it be your wedding, a gathering, party, or just your family. It’s important to me because I only want to take photos I feel tells a person or family’s story best.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Confidence- know that I’m good at what I do because I love to do it and be proud of what I’ve accomplished in only a year.

Leadership- to own and run a company and to be an extremely important person on a wedding day.

Art- art is subjective. It’s many things. My art are my photos and I won’t take a photo unless I’m proud of what I’ll capture.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
Knowing that I don’t have to do anything alone. I thankfully have family and friends that I can turn to if I have any questions whether that’s about photography or finances. I am set up for success once I realized that I surrounded myself with others who showed me that I am not alone.
