Meet Hailey Stark

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Hailey Stark. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Hailey below.

Hi Hailey, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

As a neurodivergent child, I encountered struggles regarding my self-esteem growing up. So naturally, I struggled making friends with my peers and was subject to bullying. One funny incident that happened when I was 16. Was I broke my face. Which ultimately led to me having to get stitches and looking like I got hit by a truck. This was an incredible blow to the my self-esteem and left scars on my face. This was tragic at the time as a teenage girl. ultimately, this was a blessing in disguise. For it push me into new directions and trying a new things such as make up for example. Which I didn’t care for at the time, but I learned to enjoy the artistry of it which began my successful career in the beauty industry. What I have learned from that moment in my life was nurturing something that caused me great pain ended up becoming a great strength. which gave me the confidence I needed. And allowed others to see it as well.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As a creative I love bringing people’s visions into reality. Whether it’s through being a stylist or working on creative collaborations with others. As a stylist, I have the pleasure of bringing a vision of themselves to the surface of who they truly are. I love helping people become more confident in their own skin and helping them heal in the process.
Another thing I love about being a stylist is it allows me the flexibility to indulge in other creative projects, such as my multimedia art. In which I’ve done many forms of art from illustration, creating logos, to Wood burning ect. Also collaborations and projects such as the tv show The Others’ Side by creep street productions. At the moment, I don’t have any big projects but staying open to new opportunities in the future. As I navigate a life transition.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One skill I found useful is being open and flexible to new opportunities and possibilities. Being flexible will allow you to learn and be adaptable for future endeavors, and growth opportunity’s. also keep in mind to take risk even if you fail it’s a wonderful learning experience.
Another skill would be is trusting your gut! What I mean is listening to what your intuition tells you or feel called to do. Following my intuition is what lead me into some big career and life moves. Even if other people don’t understand impress them with the results of following what calls to you.
Last thing is your health is your wealth. This as a foundation will help you be the best version of yourself. Taking care of your mind body and spirit will allow you to motivate and lead yourself and others around you. How can a person create their best work or lead others without this important foundation.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

For me time is the most valuable currency. I want to do projects that are exciting and inspire others. I’m also interested in collaborations that give back to people and animals as well. Whether it be something in the beauty industry, creative project’s or helping a nonprofit. I’m really looking forward new and exciting opportunities with others.
