Meet Halee Sprinkle

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Halee Sprinkle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Halee, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

’ve always loved helping people and sharing what I know, it’s just who I am. As an Enneagram 3w2, I’m driven by achievement but deeply motivated by connection and service. My childhood taught me that compassion and caring for others not only lift those around us but also help us grow individually. That spirit has carried through everything I do.

My corporate career was the turning point—it showed me that while I loved the strategy and creativity of marketing, my true purpose wasn’t in building someone else’s dream. It was in leading my own. Founding Czech Yourself Marketing allowed me to define success on my own terms—helping small businesses and nonprofits grow, thrive, and find confidence in their own stories.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

At Czech Yourself Marketing, I blend strategy and creativity to help small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs make sense of marketing, without the overwhelm. From social media management and creative ideation to hands-on workshops and speaking engagements, my goal is to turn marketing from a “have to” into a “want to.”

What excites me most is watching the lightbulb moments, when someone realizes they can do this, that their voice matters, and that marketing doesn’t have to feel fake or forced. It’s about connection, storytelling, and confidence. And adding your own sparkle!

Czech Yourself Marketing was built on the belief that reflection sparks growth (hence the name). I often say said that good marketing starts with knowing who you are, and that self-awareness is what makes every brand shine.

I’m especially excited about my new partnership with the University of Tennessee’s Center for Professional Education and Lifelong Learning! I’m leading interactive sessions that help business professionals refine their strategies and grow real confidence in their marketing skills. I’m also expanding my speaking and training opportunities to inspire more people to bring creativity, community, and authenticity into everything they share.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that have made the biggest impact on my journey are curiosity, resilience, and connection.

Curiosity has always been my superpower. I love learning new things, whether it’s exploring a new platform, testing creative ideas, or diving into how people think and connect. That curiosity keeps marketing fun and ever-evolving.

Resilience has been key in both entrepreneurship and life. There are seasons where things don’t go as planned, clients shift directions, or you have to start over (2020, enough said). I’ve learned that the most successful people aren’t the ones who never fall, they’re the ones who get back up, learn, and keep going with even more clarity.

And connection is at the heart of everything I do. My career and community work have shown me that success doesn’t happen in isolation, it’s built through relationships, collaboration, and showing up authentically (unicorns and glitter not mandatory, but very welcome).

My advice: Stay curious, stay kind, and don’t wait for “perfect” to start. Learn by doing. Surround yourself with people who challenge and encourage you. And remember: every experience—good or bad—is preparing you for what’s next.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

As I enter the busiest season I’ve ever experienced in my eight years of running Czech Yourself Marketing, I’m both thrilled and challenged. It’s exciting to see my revenue continue to surpass my last corporate salary and to work with incredible new clients who truly align with my passions—but I’ll be honest, imposter syndrome is kicking my a$$.

I’m learning to pause and remind myself of everything I’ve achieved. Growth can be uncomfortable, and change—even the good kind—can feel scary. But I’ve faced big transitions before and come out stronger every time. So, I’m choosing to lean into the discomfort, trust my experience, and keep showing up with confidence, heart, and a little bit of sparkle.

When I’m teaching—especially to younger audiences learning to navigate change and growth—I always remind them: “Do it scared.” It’s one of my go-to mantras, and right now, I’m taking my own advice.

Oh, and don’t forget to have fun! Life’s short, so chase the ideas that make you light up, laugh at the hiccups along the way, and remember: choosing joy is part of the journey, too.
