Meet Halima Muhammad

We were lucky to catch up with Halima Muhammad recently and have shared our conversation below.

Halima, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

I get my resilience from surviving the moments that were supposed to break me. Becoming a single mom, going through a divorce, and even being laid off pushed me into places where I had to rebuild myself from the ground up. In those moments, I had to decide who I was when the support system fell away, and I learned to rise not just for me but for my children who were watching how I would respond.

My resilience also comes from choosing purpose over pride. That mindset is what drove me to run for office when others suggested it was not the right fit for me. I trusted my voice, stepped into the arena, and won. Recently, I helped another candidate win as well. Those victories reminded me that perseverance, courage, and service can reshape entire communities.

I also found resilience through transformation. When I discovered AI, I could have easily said it was too complicated or not meant for someone like me. Instead, I embraced the challenge. I learned the tools, mastered them, and began using technology to empower women who feel overwhelmed by life. Every time change demanded a new version of me, I chose to evolve.

Resilience is not about pretending life is easy. It is faith in motion. It is the decision to rise, again and again, no matter what tries to stop you.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am an AI Artist and Strategist who helps women step into their power by combining creativity, technology, and purpose. My work sits at the intersection of branding, empowerment, and innovation. I teach women how to use AI not just as a tool but as a pathway to build confidence, automate their workload, and unlock the ideas they have been sitting on for years.

What excites me most is seeing someone who has felt overlooked or overwhelmed suddenly realize they can create something groundbreaking with just their imagination and a little guidance. I believe every woman has a story, a vision, or a business that deserves to exist in the world, and I am here to help them bring it to life.

I am also a public servant and councilmember in Porterdale, Georgia, advocating for transparency, economic development, and creative opportunities in my community. Stepping into leadership reminded me that change happens when regular people decide to do extraordinary things and follow through with action.

Professionally, I serve as Director of Operations at Moxie Virtual Solutions, where I help entrepreneurs streamline their business systems, strengthen their brand presence, and grow through smart marketing and automation. I love seeing small businesses get the support they need to operate like major players.

Recently, I partnered with Panoply + Wright, a global print and design company where I lead creative art direction. Together, we produce high-end wallpaper, murals, and campaign visuals that feature my original AI artwork. It has expanded my ability to bring tech-driven art into physical spaces around the world.

I also serve as an Ambassador for She is AI, a global community that supports women in AI with a strong presence throughout the Global South. Our mission is to ensure more women have access to the tools, resources, and visibility needed to thrive in the future of technology. This aligns deeply with my purpose: to make sure women are not just watching the future happen but actively building it.

This chapter of my career is about expansion. More visibility. More impact. And more women realizing their potential through creativity, technology, and courage.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three qualities that have shaped my journey the most are curiosity, courage, and reinvention.

Curiosity is what opened the door to my work in AI. I did not wait for someone to give me permission or tell me I was qualified. I followed my interests, asked questions, and allowed myself to be a beginner again. My advice: stay teachable. The world is changing quickly, and those who remain curious will always have opportunities.

Courage made me take the leaps that changed my life: running for office, rebuilding after divorce, and stepping into leadership roles that once felt bigger than me. I had to act even when I was afraid. My advice: if fear shows up, it usually means you are headed in the right direction. Move anyway.

Reinvention is the skill that has kept me moving forward. Every time life required a new version of me, I created her. I have learned to pivot, rebuild, and expand in ways I never imagined. My advice: do not cling to who you were. Give yourself permission to evolve into who you are becoming.

If you stay curious, act with courage, and remain open to reinvention, you can create a life far bigger than your circumstances.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I am always open to collaboration with people and organizations who are aligned with creativity, community impact, and women’s empowerment.

I love partnering with brands, companies, and leaders who believe in the power of AI to expand opportunities and make life easier, especially for women and underrepresented groups. I am also interested in collaborations that bring technology, art, and civic engagement together in meaningful ways.

If you are someone who wants to make a difference, elevate women’s voices, or explore innovative ways to blend creativity and technology, I would love to connect with you.
