Meet Halley Munoz

We were lucky to catch up with Halley Munoz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Halley, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

My optimism really comes from the people around me, especially my husband. He’s always been the person who reminds me to see the good in every situation and to trust that things will work out. Watching how he handles challenges with so much patience and positivity has rubbed off on me over the years. Along with that, working in beauty lets me meet so many amazing people, and their stories and energy keep me inspired. All of that together is what keeps me grounded, grateful, and optimistic.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a makeup artist who’s passionate about helping people feel like the best version of themselves. My work ranges from soft glam to creative looks, and what I love most is that no two faces, or stories, are ever the same. Every client brings their own energy, and being trusted to be part of their special moments is something I never take for granted.

What feels most exciting about my work is the connection. Makeup is more than just brushes and products, it’s confidence, comfort, and a little bit of magic. I get to create looks that highlight someone’s natural beauty while also giving them a moment to breathe, relax, and feel taken care of.

My brand is all about enhancing beauty in a way that feels personal, soft, and intentional. I want every person who sits in my chair to feel seen, understood, and absolutely glowing.

Right now I’m focused on growing my business, building more content, and expanding the services I offer. I’ve been working on new looks, tutorials, and more behind-the-scenes content so people can really see my process and the heart behind what I do. I’m also opening my books for more events and collaborations, which I’m really excited about.

Overall, my journey as an artist has been such a blessing, and I’m grateful for the community that has supported me every step of the way.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have made the biggest impact on my journey are patience, connection, and consistency.

Patience has been everything. Growing a business, building a clientele, and developing your own style doesn’t happen overnight. I learned to give myself grace, trust the process, and remind myself that every season teaches you something.

Connection is another big one. Makeup is such a personal service, and really listening to people, understanding what they want, what they’re celebrating, or even what they’re nervous about, has helped me create looks that feel true to them. Building genuine relationships has been just as important as honing my skills.

And consistency has kept me moving forward. Showing up even on the slow days, practicing new techniques, posting my work, and always trying to get a little better… that’s what builds momentum.

For anyone early in their journey, my biggest advice is: be patient with yourself, stay curious, and don’t forget to connect with people. Practice as much as you can, take inspiration from everywhere, and don’t be afraid to start small. Consistency and heart go a long way, and if you truly love what you’re doing, that will always show through your work.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes! I’m always open to collaborating. I love connecting with photographers, models, hairstylists, creators, anyone who’s passionate about bringing creative ideas to life. If you’re someone who enjoys trying new concepts and creating beautiful content, I’d love to work together.

The easiest way to reach me is through Instagram since that’s where I’m most active. My DMs are always open for new collabs and fun projects!
