My parents and upbringing have played a significant role in shaping my strong work ethic. From a young age, my parents instilled in me the values of dedication, perseverance, and hard work. They led by example, demonstrating a tireless commitment to their own professions and teaching me the importance of giving my best effort in everything I do.
Growing up, I witnessed my parents’ unwavering work ethic as they balanced their careers and family responsibilities. They taught me the value of discipline, time management, and setting high standards for myself. They encouraged me to pursue my passions and dreams, providing unwavering support and guidance along the way.
Furthermore, my parents emphasized the importance of education and continuous learning. They encouraged me to seek knowledge, explore new opportunities, and never settle for mediocrity. Their belief in the power of education has driven me to constantly improve my skills and stay ahead in the ever-evolving salon industry.
Beyond their guidance, my parents created a nurturing and supportive environment that allowed me to develop a strong sense of responsibility and independence. They taught me the importance of taking ownership of my actions, being accountable, and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth.

I am a passionate 21-year-old salon owner located in the vibrant community of Porter, TX. At my salon, we operate on a booth rental basis, allowing talented and independent hairstylists to showcase their skills and build their own businesses within our supportive and collaborative environment. What I love most about my business is the opportunity it provides for creativity, connection, and personal growth. Each day, I witness the transformative power of beauty and self-expression as our talented stylists work their magic, leaving our clients feeling confident and beautiful. I take immense pride in fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere where both our stylists and clients feel valued and cherished. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the smiles on our clients’ faces and to witness the positive impact we have on their lives. As a salon owner, I am dedicated to continuously improving our services, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques, and creating a space that inspires and empowers everyone who walks through our doors.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As a salon owner and hairstylist, the unwavering values of never giving up, being confident, and having faith in God have profoundly shaped and impacted my journey in remarkable ways.
First and foremost, the decision to never give up has been paramount in my pursuit of success. The beauty industry is highly competitive, and like any business venture, it comes with its fair share of challenges and obstacles. However, through my unwavering determination and tenacity, I have been able to push through difficult times and setbacks. Even when faced with discouragement or doubts, my belief in my abilities and my faith in God’s plan for me have provided the resilience and strength to keep moving forward. It is the refusal to give up that has allowed me to overcome hurdles, learn and grow from failures, and ultimately thrive as a salon owner and hairstylist.
Additionally, being confident has played a significant role in my professional journey. Confidence in my skills, creativity, and unique vision has allowed me to set myself apart in the industry. It has allowed me to surrender control over outcomes and trust in His timing, knowing that He will direct and open doors for me along the way.
