We recently connected with Hamzeh Kassab and have shared our conversation below.
Hamzeh, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
It comes from starting out with not having much whether it was financially or mentally or self confidence… i know how it feels to be down so I love to help any thats in that situation by giving back and helping out whenever and wherever I can. Bascule I know what it feels like to have nothing and feel like its impossible to change it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Born in Damascus, Syria, Hamzeh moved to Canada with his family in 1989. The challenges of adapting to a new country gave him an early understanding of hard work and perseverance. As a teenager, he left high school to help his father build a manufacturing business, learning the ins and outs of entrepreneurship from the ground up.
While helping the family business thrive, Hamzeh developed a passion for fitness and weight training. What started as a personal interest soon grew into a deeper understanding of health and wellness, setting the stage for his future endeavors.
Hamzeh has been vocal about the issues he’s observed in the fitness world. From misleading marketing to influencers endorsing harmful products, he has seen firsthand how consumers can be taken advantage of. This inspired him to build a brand that prioritizes clarity and results over profit.
“Too often, people are sold on the idea of shortcuts,” Hamzeh explains. “I wanted to create something real—something people could rely on to achieve their goals in a sustainable way.”
Through Move Weight, he’s also committed to educating his audience. Whether through social media or his product descriptions, Hamzeh ensures customers know exactly what they’re buying and how it works.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my journey building Move Weight, three qualities have made the biggest impact: resilience, integrity, and vision.
Resilience is what kept me going when I had nothing but an idea. Building a brand, especially in a competitive space like fitness and supplements, means you’re going to face setbacks. But I chose to keep moving forward even when things felt uncertain. For anyone starting out, resilience isn’t just about staying motivated. It’s about showing up every day and doing the work, even when no one is watching.
Integrity has always been a core value for me. From day one, I refused to cut corners just to scale faster. That’s why our products are based on real science, our ingredients are transparent, and we don’t make unrealistic claims. In an industry full of hype, I believe staying honest and real is what helps build long-term trust. My advice to others is simple: build a brand that aligns with who you are and what you believe in.
Vision has guided every move I’ve made. I never just wanted to sell pre-workouts or apparel. I wanted to build a culture, something that inspires people to push limits and live better. Whether it’s expanding into major retail stores or preparing to release a game-changing protein supplement, it’s all been part of a bigger plan. If you’re early in your journey, take the time to get clear on where you’re going. Trends come and go, but purpose lasts.
These three qualities resilience, integrity, and vision have shaped everything I’ve built. For anyone just starting out, focusing on developing these will take you further than you can imagine.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
If I had only ten years left to live, I would double down on doing what gives me the deepest sense of purpose—building a legacy that inspires others to move with intention, strength, and integrity. I’d spend time growing Move Weight into a global movement, not just a brand, and making sure it continues to stand for real values like discipline, wellness, and self-respect.
But more than business, I’d prioritize people. I’d invest my energy into meaningful time with my family and closest friends. I’d travel with the people I love, experience cultures I’ve yet to see, and create moments that are more valuable than any amount of money.
I’d also mentor young entrepreneurs and fitness enthusiasts, especially those who come from humble beginnings like I did. I want to help others rise—not just in business, but in mindset. If my time was limited, I’d make sure what I leave behind serves people well beyond my years. That’s the kind of legacy worth chasing.
