Hanna , thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve found joy in making people feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated. Whether it was baking treats for friends, putting together little care packages, or remembering the smallest details about someone—I’ve always loved the magic that comes from thoughtful gestures.

That’s really where my generosity comes from: a genuine love for people and a belief that small acts of kindness can have a big impact. I haven’t always had the most time or resources, but I’ve always believed that intention matters more than extravagance.

Prezzie was born from that same spirit. I wanted to create something that made it easier for others to show up generously too—to make it simple to say “I see you” or “I’m cheering you on” in a way that feels personal and heartfelt.

At the end of the day, I think we all want to feel valued. If I can help someone create a moment that makes another person feel special, then that’s a win in my book.

I’m the founder of Prezzie Gift Co., a modern gifting company that takes the stress out of finding thoughtful, beautiful gifts—whether it’s for a client, a wedding, a team event, or just because. We offer full-service gifting, which means we handle everything from sourcing and curating to custom packaging and delivery. Basically, we make it easy to give a gift that actually feels meaningful (and looks really good, too).

What makes Prezzie special is the intention behind every gift. We’re not just tossing a few items into a box—we’re telling a story, capturing a moment, and making someone feel genuinely celebrated. I always say that a good gift should feel like it gets you, and that’s the energy we bring to every project, big or small.

One of the most exciting things happening right now is our expansion into weddings, events, and corporate gifting on a larger scale. From branded gift suites for conferences to highly personalized welcome gifts for wedding weekends, we’ve been having so much fun bringing our signature style to new spaces.

At the heart of it all, Prezzie is about helping people connect in a way that feels thoughtful, elevated, and easy. If it makes someone smile, we’ve done our job.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful things in my journey have been: resourcefulness, relationship-building, and a willingness to just figure it out as I go.

I didn’t come from a marketing or business background—I was trained in science and healthcare—so starting Prezzie meant stepping into a world I knew very little about. But being resourceful (aka Googling like a pro, asking questions, and learning by doing) helped me build something from the ground up. I truly believe you don’t need all the answers—you just need the curiosity and drive to find them.

Relationships have also been everything. From supportive mentors and small business friends to amazing clients who trust me with their gifts—this journey has been built on real, genuine connections. My advice? Be kind, show up authentically, and cheer others on. That energy comes back tenfold.

Lastly, embracing the messiness of building something new has been huge. I used to think I needed everything to be perfect before launching an idea—but I’ve learned that progress beats perfection every time. Start before you’re ready. Tweak as you go. You learn so much more by doing than waiting.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes! I’m always looking to partner and collaborate with others—it’s truly one of my favorite parts of running Prezzie. We love working with event planners, realtors, brides, corporate teams, and other small businesses to bring thoughtful, beautifully curated gifts to life. Whether it’s welcome gifts for a wedding weekend, closing gifts for clients, or something fun for a brand activation or launch—we’re all about creating meaningful moments that feel personal and polished.

I’m also always on the lookout for amazing products and makers to feature in our packages. Supporting fellow small businesses is a huge part of what we do, and I love discovering new items that help tell a story through gifting.
