Meet Hardy Vibert

We recently connected with Hardy Vibert and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Hardy , thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re very focused on here – improving our ability to make decisions. Everyday, we’re faced with decisions that can impact the future of our careers, businesses, relationships and more and so one of the most impactful areas for personal development, in our view, is decision-making. Can you talk to us about how you developed or improved your decision-making skills?

For me, decision-making has been something I developed through experience, reflection, and learning to trust my instincts. In both hospitality and real estate, you’re constantly faced with situations that require quick judgment, whether it’s handling a last-minute event change, choosing the right investment property, or deciding how to resolve tenant or business challenges.

Early on, I realized that every decision comes with some level of risk, but the key is gathering information, weighing the options, and then acting confidently. I also learned to separate emotion from strategy; it’s easy to get caught up in how a choice feels in the moment, but the best decisions are made when you focus on facts, outcomes, and long-term impact.

Another big part of developing my decision-making skills has been learning from mistakes. Every misstep taught me what to look for next time and how to anticipate challenges more effectively. Over time, this created a feedback loop that sharpened my judgment and allowed me to make faster, smarter decisions without second-guessing myself.

Ultimately, I’ve found that strong decision-making comes from a mix of knowledge, experience, intuition, and a willingness to act, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. The more you practice this, the more natural it becomes.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Over the last several years, I’ve built my career around two things I’m passionate about: elevating people’s experiences in nightlife and creating long-term wealth through real estate. Today, I run PHH Hospitality Group , a hospitality group based in Los Angeles, and Vibe Investment, my real estate investment company focused on multi-family acquisitions and value-add opportunities.

What excites me most about the work I do is the impact it has on people. In hospitality, it’s all about creating unforgettable nights for clients, whether it’s at Warwick, Poppy , or the special events we host throughout the year. I love bringing people together, building connections, and curating an atmosphere where everyone feels like a VIP. That’s what makes PHH Hospitality special. We’re not just another promotions company, we’re relationship-driven and we take pride in consistently delivering high-quality service and energy every single night.

On the real estate side, Vibe Investment is all about building sustainable wealth, providing quality housing, and creating opportunities in emerging markets like St. Louis. I’ve always believed in thinking long-term, and real estate lets me do that while giving back to communities through better management, renovations, and strong tenant relationships. Right now, my focus is on expanding our multi-family portfolio, especially with 4-plexes near downtown St. Louis, and continuing to refine our systems as a property manager.

Both industries may seem completely different, but the common thread is people. Whether I’m helping someone have the best night of their month or providing a comfortable home for a tenant, everything I do comes back to relationships, trust, and showing up with excellence.

As for what’s new, PHH Hospitality is expanding its network and developing new partnerships, including curated special-event nights, collaborations with top nightlife brands, and seasonal events like our holiday parties. On the investment side, Vibe Investment is growing consistently, and we’re currently reviewing several acquisitions to bring more properties into the portfolio.

At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to create experiences, build community, and leave a lasting impact, whether that’s in nightlife or real estate.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey, there are three qualities that have made the biggest impact on where I am today: relationship-building, resilience, and long-term vision.

1. Relationship-Building
Everything I do, whether it’s hospitality or real estate, comes down to people. The ability to connect with others, communicate clearly, and build genuine relationships has opened more doors for me than anything else. In nightlife, relationships are the foundation of a successful night. In real estate, they’re the reason deals happen, tenants stay, and partnerships form.

Advice: Focus on becoming someone people can trust. Show up consistently, follow through, and listen more than you speak. Strong relationships are an asset that compound over time.

2. Resilience & Adaptability
Both industries come with challenges, last-minute changes in nightlife, difficult tenants, unexpected property issues, deals falling through. If you can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly, you’ll always stay ahead. Some of my biggest lessons came from situations that didn’t go as planned, but those moments helped me evolve as a leader and as an entrepreneur.

Advice: Don’t run from challenges, lean into them. Every adversity is preparing you for the next level. Focus on problem-solving, not panic.

3. Long-Term Vision & Strategic Thinking
Real estate taught me the power of thinking beyond the moment. You don’t invest for today, you invest for the next 5, 10, 20 years. That same mindset shifted how I approached hospitality. Instead of thinking about what’s happening this weekend, I started building systems, partnerships, and a brand that can scale.

Advice: Develop the habit of zooming out. Ask yourself: How does this decision affect me a year from now? Five years from now? The more you train your mind to think long-term, the stronger your foundation becomes.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely. I’m always open to connecting with people who bring value, passion, and great energy into what they do. In hospitality, I’m looking to collaborate with event creators, promoters, nightlife brands, photographers, and content creators who want to build memorable experiences and contribute to the culture we’ve built at PHH Hospitality.

On the real estate side, I’m always interested in connecting with investor-friendly agents, property managers, contractors, and fellow investors, especially those working with multi-family properties or value-add opportunities in markets like St. Louis & Las Vegas . If you’re someone who values professionalism, consistency, and long-term thinking, we’ll work well together.

Whether it’s in nightlife or real estate, I’m focused on building partnerships that make sense, elevate everyone involved, and create opportunities for growth.

If you’re reading this and want to collaborate, the best way to reach me is through my website HardyVibert.com I’m always open to a conversation and seeing how we can create something great together.
