We recently connected with Harold Jutajero and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Harold with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I got my work ethic from my mother which she instilled in me to this day. She was an RN, BSN nurse for over 30 years being the breadwinner, taking care of 3 boys, and being an entrepreneur herself running an asian grocery store. After high school, she put me through college at Pace University, NY where I studied and earned 2 bachelor degrees – Information Technology and Communication Media Studies. Instead of nursing, I had to forge my own path as well in the tech industry as an IT engineer. The world was obviously changing and leveraging the experience I had at Pace, I decided to find and create my own side hustles which was Auxxilus Fitness Wear, Auxxilus Media, and my brand Haroldefinition.com. After facing several rejections and setbacks, I grew stronger and more resilient. Each challenge taught me valuable lessons and helped me develop a solid work ethic. Through these experiences, I discovered my purpose which was to motivate and inspire others to find their true calling and reach their full potential in life.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m primarily focused on building my fitness wear brand Auxxilus.com, my media agency, auxxilusmedia.com, and my personal brand Harold Jutajero which includes haroldefinition.com. I get most excited when I see people in the general public wearing Auxxilus fitness wear—whether they’re at the gym, out and about, in a grocery store, or relaxing at home. It’s a wonderful feeling to see our brand embraced in so many places! People don’t just take photos and selfies; we also share them on our social media and the Auxxilus website. This helps us connect with our community and culture as we grow together. People love to wear Auxxilus fitness wear since we provide both men and women’s high quality luxury products at economic prices. What sets us apart is that we contribute a portion of our sales to support the community and various nonprofit organizations. What’s also exciting to share is that Auxxilus fitness wear recently partnered with ION Lifestyle which sells ION supplements and is launching their brand new skincare collection. Auxxilus is also a sponsor of The Pearl Collection LLC which is an asian beauty pageant that’s being held in Las Vegas, Nevada next year in 2025. This coming summer 2025, Auxxilus fitness wear may also be expanding their product line further and launch a brand new swimwear collection for both men and women.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three most important quality skills that were most impactful in my journey are resilience and grit, consistency, and investing in myself. The first piece of advice I would offer is to embrace failure, learn quickly from the experience, and enjoy the journey along the way. With that, I was able to build resilience and grit to handle all the rejections, challenges, and obstacles that came my way. You can fail many times. You just have to be right once. The second piece of advice is consistency. Being consistent on my goals was a habit. Once it became a habit, it became my lifestyle. Last, but not least, the third piece of advice was to invest in myself because no one was going to do that for me. I always worked on myself on all aspects of my life no matter what it is. Life isn’t always going to be easy; there will be challenges to face. That’s when you need to cultivate resilience and grit, helping you grow stronger mentally, physically, spiritually, and as a whole.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m actually looking for both. I’m looking to partner with like-minded individuals who share a can-do attitude and a determination to elevate Auxxilus to the next level, no matter what it takes. They can be self-taught, resourceful, and leverage their connections as well. I’m also collaborating with influencers as well. Zoe Sofia Gabon who is the pageant winner of the event MGF Miss Philippines Virginia is also an ambassador for Auxxilus fitness wear. Auxxilus has also partnered with Christina Phal, who owns Elite Whitening Studio, a professional teeth whitening service business. Auxxilus is still looking for influencers who loves fitness, has a great following, and high engagement on social media. We’re looking for folks to partner and collaborate with to build that community and share that culture with us.
