Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Harry Baines. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Harry , thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
Once you realize that all negativity is projections of others insecurities, you learn to let stuff go

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a professional model focused on editorial, commercial, and lifestyle work. I started when I was 15 and really decided to launch my creativity upon graduating high school. What excites me most is collaborating with creatives to bring a vision to life through high-quality, impactful imagery. Right now, I’m building a versatile portfolio to work with top agencies and brands, with several exciting editorial shoots on the horizon.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As a model Posing Technique is the most useful, a lot of people think modeling is easy but it isn’t, there’s an actual craft to it,
The second would be time management skills, despite what people see on my instagram a lot of work happens off camera I have a pretty busy schedule (Emailing, Fittings, Castings, Working out, Meetings, etc.) its a lot during the week and time management helps me stay consistent.
The last skill would be marketing, in the modeling world you have to know how to pitch yourself in front of dozens if not hundreds of people, knowing how to sell yourself as a model, an artist to clients is will get you in rooms that elevate your career.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
My parents’ support has been the foundation of my journey, and I’m endlessly thankful for them.
