We were lucky to catch up with Heather Clohessy recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

From a young age, I felt a powerful spiritual calling & a deep sensitivity to energy & the unseen. My path has been shaped by profound life experiences, including personal trauma & loss, which have only deepened my compassion & intuitive wisdom. These challenges became the catalyst for my own healing journey…one that led me to reclaim my voice, reconnect with my truth, & fully step into my purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m Heather, the creator of Luminous Lite, a psychospiritual coaching & healing practice born from both my professional expertise & my personal healing journey. My work is rooted in helping others awaken to their truth, integrate all parts of themselves, & rise into their most luminous, aligned lives, especially those who lead, nurture, or create for others.

My story weaves through trauma, transformation, & a deep spiritual calling I felt even as a child. After surviving personal loss & navigating the challenges of being a woman in high-pressure corporate spaces, I turned inward, toward healing, toward energy work, & ultimately toward purpose. That’s when Luminous Lite came through…a calling more than a brand.

Through Psychospiritual Coaching, Reiki-infused sessions, conscious mentorships, along with aligned events & retreats, I help Creatives, Professionals, Founders & Seekers…shed old stories, remember who they truly are, & bring their inner light into the world with clarity & power.

What’s most exciting to me is witnessing the exact moment a client returns to themself. When the room gets quiet, their energy shifts, & they see their self, not through fear or expectation, but through truth. That moment is sacred. That’s why I do this work.

Luminous Lite is more than a brand…it’s a movement of heart-led leadership, soulful alignment, & empowered embodiment. & it’s just getting started. ✨HERE WE GLOW✨

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Wow, when I reflect on my journey, both personal & professional…3 things really stand out that helped shape who I am today & how I serve others…I have always been a very kind, positive & resilient person…however, when faced with the dark soul of the night…which is where I was at…there are 3 that do really stand out in my journey!

The first one is deep self-awareness & healing. I literally felt like either I was going to go dig a hole & crawl into it OR it was time to finally answer the call that I’d been receiving from a very young age. With this I had to face some really painful chapters in my life, & instead of pushing through them, it was finally time to make a conscious choice to turn inward. That inner work, going deep into wounds that I didn’t even know were still there, reconnecting with my truth, learning to trust my intuition, & being fully present…this became the foundation of everything I do now!

Advice: Give yourself permission to slow down & listen to what your soul is really asking for. Whether it’s coaching, meditation, journaling, or just taking quiet walks, find what brings you back to yourself. The healing doesn’t have to be perfect, just as long as it’s honest!

The second was learning to understanding energy, my own & others’! Learning how to work with energy was a game-changer for me. Unbeknownst to me I had A LOT of energy “Vampires” & as a highly sensitive & intuitive person…I used to feel overwhelmed by other people’s emotions or environments. But once I learned how to ground myself, protect my space, & channel my energy intentionally, I started showing up with so much more clarity & confidence!

Advice: Start by noticing how your energy shifts throughout the day & around different people. You don’t have to be a Reiki practitioner to honor your energy. Sometimes the simple act of allowing yourself to be aware can shift your energy…this coupled with meditation, breathwork, boundaries, rest, these are all powerful tools. The more in tune you are with your energy, the more you’ll attract what actually aligns with you & what is for your greatest good!

The final is leading with love & kindness ALWAYS!!! I used to think leadership had to look a certain way…buttoned up, polished, persuasive…this is simply ego & sometimes greed at its best. I learned that the most powerful form of leadership is simply showing up as yourself. For me, that means being clear, kind, & deeply present. Whether I’m holding space for a client or speaking to a group of founders, I lead with heartfelt honesty & from the soul!

Advice: Practice speaking your truth, even in small ways. It’s not about pleasing others, making THEM happy, it’s about speaking from YOUR heart in YOUR words. When your voice comes from this place of alignment, people feel it. AND most importantly, you feel it!

At the heart of all this is a simple truth: happiness is an Inside job!!! The happier & more connected you are to yourself, the more impactful you become for others. So, start there. Seek mentors, books, or coaching…you already have what you need, and they will help you to uncover what is waiting to be remembered!!
