Hi Heaven, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I draw my optimism from embracing uncertainty and focusing on the aspects within my control. My approach revolves around fostering gratitude, kindness, and helpfulness towards others while continuously striving for personal growth and self-appreciation. Additionally, my strong self-motivation empowers me to believe in my ability to achieve any goal I set my mind to.

Hello, my name is Heaven Smith, and I have a diverse skill set that encompasses several key areas. Primarily, I am recognized as a web designer and the visionary behind the ‘Define Elevate Network’ series. Additionally, I am adept at managing and strategizing for social media platforms, ensuring brands effectively reach their target audiences through compelling visuals and high-quality content. As a creative director, I collaborate with clients to ideate photo shoots, provide posing direction, and develop innovative projects and events.
My dedication to assisting clients extends well beyond social media, as I strive to build comprehensive and impactful experiences for them. Our collective hard work is showcased to the public, inviting them to join our thriving community.
Regarding ‘Define Elevate,’ we recently launched the series in late June, and while we currently have one episode available on YouTube, we have exciting plans for more content in mid-August. I encourage everyone to stay tuned and explore our channel.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
During my journey, three qualities and skills have been particularly impactful. Firstly, I attribute much of my success to having unwavering faith, which means believing before even seeing the results. Stepping out with that ‘crazy faith’ and following the direction led by God has been crucial.
Secondly, I find great fulfillment in allowing my purpose to help others. By being good to people, having a kind heart, and showing genuineness, I’ve found opportunities and doors opening for me that I couldn’t have imagined.
Lastly, determination plays a key role in my endeavors. I approach every task with the mindset that failure is not an option, and I am committed to reaching the level I aspire to achieve. My motivation is further fueled by studying the Bible, as it reinforces the idea that we are protected and can overcome any storm or challenge. I firmly believe in pushing forward, growing through obstacles, and embracing joy in every situation.
So go for everything ! Don’t hold back , and when you feel like you got knocked down know that joy is coming!!! Keep pushing. “The anchor doesn’t stop the devastation.” You have to GROW through it !
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I prioritize self-care by seeking support from my sister, which allows me to release my emotions and gain some perspective. After our brief call, I find solace in my room, where I create a peaceful environment by closing the blinds and listening to praise and worship music. This helps me shift my focus towards the positive aspects of my week, enabling me to approach challenges with a clearer mindset. By learning to control my emotions and thoughts, I find that the initial feelings of overwhelm gradually dissipate, allowing me to face situations with a more composed and strategic approach. This practice has been instrumental in maintaining my composure during demanding situations and fostering a productive mindset for problem-solving.
