We were lucky to catch up with Hector Jesus Arencibia recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hector Jesus, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
In 2012, I had an abrupt, core shaking, spiritual experience that led me to suddenly abandon my life and travel the entire world on one way tickets. It was a search for my true self and to discover the wisdom of the ages. That adventure of lifetime had me touch the soil of 20 plus countries and ended being published as a book some have called a hidden “spiritual gem”. I like to call it the tiny book with a big soul. The title: Letters from Wanderlust. It was published in 2016.
At some point I was certain that my soul’s mission was to release Letters from Wanderlust, do the very best I could to get as many eyes as possible on it and eventually fade into a quiet spiritual life. But boy was I wrong.
2018 was fast approaching and there I was with what can only feel like a spiritual chaffing. Something wasn’t right. I was struggling with focus, feeling trapped in life and even took on the false belief that money wasn’t spiritual so my finances were a mess.
I knew I needed help so I turned to my favorite place in the world to seek knowledge: The Spiritual and Self Help Section of my local bookstore. I ended up finding a book that transformed my life and sent me on my life’s purpose. The book: The Power of Your Subconcious Mind by Dr Joseph Murphy. During the months that followed I read dozens of books about the power of the subconcious mind and how it’s directly connected to the Universal Mind. But I was not only being a student, I was actively practicing what I was reading and my life started to improve.
Then during the pandemic I discovered Bob Proctor for the very first time. His teachings were the dynamo that catapulted my life into the biggest quantum leap I had ever experienced. I went from having $652 in my bank account to earning over $1,000,000 in a year and a half. And I did this in the middle of a global pandemic, without an established business, zero connections, hell I didn’t even have a job.
Once I realized what I had accomplished I knew I needed to teach this material to others. I knew that I wanted to serve humanity as a teacher of this incredible knowledge.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am currently working on a new book and course that teaches everything I have learned during the last 9 years of studying and applying the knowledge that quantum leaped me from $652 to $1,000,000 in a year and a half. This work is not just for someone who wants more money, it truly works for any desire one may have. It’s a deep dive into your mental faculties, the powers of the subconcious mind, the laws of the universe, the Universal Mind and how when they’re all in harmony you can manifest the life of your dreams.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The very first quality that comes to mind is: Faith. Before I had developed any other skill, I always had big faith. It was faith that illumined my path during my darkest times and carried me through the moments when I thought I could not go any further.
I like to say that faith is a muscle and it can be developed through continously acting in faith (doing what’s uncomfortable) and always looking for the good in everything.
The second quality is willpower. Without a trained will you will never be able to manifest the life of your dreams. As it takes a good amount of self control to break free from the patterns that have held you back. The will, just like faith can be developed. One great exercise to develop your will is giving yourself a command and doing it. Something like resisting the small temptations. Let’s say checking your phone every so often. Whenever you feel the urge to check your phone tell yourself no and don’t check it. With time these small actions will start compounding your strength to control your will.
Lastly there is persistence. Being persistent in your personal development is a must as there are time where you won’t see any changes in the exterior world but I can assure you that if you persist you will see the results.
The best way to develop persistence is by developing your faith.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
This one is easy! My ideal client is someone who is willing to be entirely teachable. And show up to do the work. There are so many people who want to change their lives but they’re not teachable or they’re lazy.
Being teachable is what makes me a great student and teacher as well. I know that I don’t know it all and that this journey is a lifelong process of learning and acting on knowledge.
Jim Kwik says its best ‘ Knowledge alone is not power! It’s: Knowlege x’s Action = Power’.
