Meet Heidy Rizo

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Heidy Rizo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Heidy with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Well, let’s start saying I’m a perfectionist, with that being said I make sure everything I do when it comes to work I do it right.

I always make sure to get something positive from every single person and situation. I had the pleasure to work with few Dermatologists, working for a Derm Hospital helped me a lot to get that medical part.

Also visiting few high end Spas helped me to get the luxury and great environment ideas.

That combination has helped me a lot to get a great ethic work.

I was raised as Jehovah’s Witness and is a lifestyle that help to get good ethic in all aspects so that has helped me too.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
So, I’m a Medical Aesthetician with 16+ years of experience with medical facials. My team and I concentrate in treating skin conditions such as acne, dark spot, rosacea, dryness and dehydration.

We are located in Doral Fl, pretty close to Dolphin Mall.

Something I’m so excited about is to see the reaction from patients once they start seeing results. It’s so satisfying!!!

We do Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, deep extractions, Hydrafacial, Oxygen Facial, CO2 Coolifting and we are super excited cause March 1st we’re releasing a new facial RADIO FRECUENCY with Microneedling!!!

The spa has a relaxing waiting area where patients can relax with a drink right after their facials.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Consistency Resilience
Passion

To follow their heart, try to find the right job for you. Even if you decide to be in this industry, try to become the best in one rama not in all of them.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
