Meet Hetal Nagaraj

We were lucky to catch up with Hetal Nagaraj recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hetal, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

My all of this and everything is from my education, knowledge, generational knowledge as well that is passed within families, trainings, skill courses, experiences that shaped me and were by my peers and the exposure that brought me on this level.
A well knit loving family grooms person just as well as it does to the other ways of so called “life lessons”. Technically my life if you see my share of struggles with my mom’s decade of bed rest issues made me independent.
I grew up in my family and besties and by everybody. I learned from everybody, everything around me.
Nobody told me not to do this or that. The only time i was ever stopped was when it was legally incorrect :).
Everybody said, try and see if you like it and thats how i entered every field.
Confidence & self-esteem comes from all of above, consistency and success too! It does not matter which field.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

All i do is on consistent basis. It has become a part of my life to enjoy every field.

Proficient to handle all softwares & applications because of education in Information Technology.
An average of 6 years of experience in Construction and Remodeling for independent projects under builder with full certifications and licenses in India & USA(currently in USA).

I also have 4 years of experience as Independent freelancer in commercial food industry, 2 years in Sports Industry as I am a former sportsman, 27 Years in Wellness Industry with full transparency and success in each.
Total of average 300+ skills of fully trained, industry experience, traceability and independent projects/skills w/licenses, permits and certification. Very soon all the products & services will be available to general public. I have always been a boss baby meaning to say that I love corporate life. I choose roles and fields that excite me or places that “really” teach me something amazing.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Performing arts puts me on a global stage and international presence. I think its because it was my first profession at a very young age of 14 as compared to other fields. It paid for every other education as well which is something that I just noticed this year. Information technology is like my faithful girlfriend and it never leaves me. I mastered that at the age of 23 and my journey in IT continued since then. I am fortunate to achieve more than others would.
My commerce degree that I cleared at the age of 24-25 helps me run all of this and my other skills and trainings made me achieve what others could not.
The most important and common feature in all of above was that I was with or under the right people. I was always told direction is important than speed and taking the right knowledge matters just as appropriate education. It got me this year while i was preparing my own stats that my peers were right. Direction mattered more than speed, always!
It made a huge impact on me to learn from these amazing professionals who are in todays world not available for literally anybody. I must have achieved something amazing to be where they could groom me this well. That’s a tiny little Yey for me. My statements, my questions made them think and that was my path and door that I made for myself just by delivering success!

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

Make a list and focused to follow it. Simple as that. This list includes my overall health and mental wellness too. Discipline in life is very important and listening to your own brain is more important. I am never afraid to work 10 times if i have to and push my own limits to next level. I never waited for anybody for anything. It’s not in my mindset to ever wait for anybody for anything. Somehow my life has taught me independence to level where I don’t mind taking 10 courses to be independent than rely on anybody! I love to own all I do and that makes it happen.
I love to pat myself on that as well. It is very difficult to prioritize because you have to listen to yourself, your family, ppl depending on you and then this whole world noise that is expected out of you :).
Thats about it. Once you know who matters first in your life, you will never make a mistake that you will ever regret. I think thats why I do not have any regrets till date. It is very easy then to follow the list.
