We recently connected with Hima Bindu and have shared our conversation below.
Hima Bindu, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
I believe those who listen to their inner child and has nothing to prove to others are the most creative.
I try to learn new things, take risks, try not to get swept away with the popular trends.
Nature and Children inspire me a lot, for being creative. I love it when my clients trust me with new ideas and the look on their faces when they see those pictures is the best reward.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hi, I am Hima Bindu. I am a portrait photographer, specialized in Newborn, Maternity, Child and Family portraiture.
I believe photography as an art, is an experience and feeling that creates beautiful memories. As a mom of an 18 month old and a fur baby, I know how fast babies grow and how priceless memories of their child hood are.
For me, nothing is more magical than a child’s smile, a life growing inside you and the beautiful bond parents share with their children and it is such a privilege to photograph these magical moments, that lasts for a lifetime.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I believe Patience, Learning and Practice helped me with my photography journey
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
I will continue doing the things that make my soul sing. I am thankful for my life and am grateful to everyone in my life for all the moments, good or bad, that help me grow as a person
